Mandy Mandy! I'm so happy for you! What a fun post to read, there was so much good energy in there. It sounds like things are really falling into place for you even if it's been a bit hectic. Way to go, you earned it!
Don't forget, you're not the only one who hit the jackpot. Josh did as well... and so did the company you're now working for, and your Mom in raising you up to be a strong independent capable woman And then there's all of us here who you've shared your experiences with.

Hey Everybody!!!
Please tell me how you all are doing?? I think about you guys all the time!! Things should be slowing down a bit for the next few weeks - while my mom is away so hopefully I can pop in a bit more!
Nothing great to report. I am on my rest week - I had my measurements, pics, etc done today and am looking forward to seeing what EL has to say.
The main thing I learned in this last program is I LOVE lifting heavy - low reps, heavy ass weights, and just pushing it to the max.
I also discovered I still have some issues with food. I love food - I loved it when I was fat...I love it now...and its always been an obsession. I was always the kid eating breakfast asking what was going to be for lunch. Josh and I are going away to the mountains this weekend and I know that I am going to overdo it. This bothers me....but its reality. Look at me and my fruit bowls - these things are huge and yes its fruit but its the principal. I can't just eat a little - I always eat the whole damn thing. Why? Because I love it! I just need to be more aware of this and learn that it is OK to leave food on the plate (which I never do...hehe!)
Things are great overall! I am loving the furniture store, I am still house hunting, and I cannot wait for Josh to move here. I do have to say I am really bothered about something....Josh needs a new car so I figured I would get a new car and give Josh my Acura since it is paid off, but my mom says that I shouldn't. She thinks that it'll look bad to the employees. Even though I have saved all my money - I have to be careful of how I approach my situation there. I have to prove myself and earn my keep - which I wouldn't have any other way - but at the same time I find this to be bull****.
With that - I'm off to get a bit caught up with work!

I totally relate Mandy! I NEVER leave food!!! I think it's part of the whole blank and white thinking...it's hard but we can do it! Have fun and relax this weekend...don't worry about food! I know it's tough, but just enjoy Josh!

The way I see it - things will go as good as you allow it! There is always going to be bad things going on - but you just make the best of them and push on!
We actually had to cancel the trip *sad* BUT we are going to the beach!!
I got ya girl!
Your right! I am really going to try to enjoy this weekend and take it for what it is. You know whats crazy - we haven't even gone out to dinner just us since I moved home - so this is much needed!
Thank you - thank you - thank you! I always love hearing your feedback bc I know that I tend to be too hard on myself I am so happy we are moving in the right direciton, while trying to incorporate life. We've come so far....YAY
I'll see what I can do*Mandy*

Hi
So they are calling for sleet on Friday in the mountains so Josh and I decided we are going to head south to the beach instead. I really don't care where we go as long as we spend some time together. I was thinking today and realized that we haven't even gone out to dinner alone since I've moved home. This is much needed - and I don't even care if we don't leave the bed the entire weekend
*Although I do know that a Japanese meal and a Tommy Bahama brownie is included in there somewhere....lol*
Today was a bit disappointing. I thought that sales were getting better. Traffic is picking up, sales are increasing, overall morale is better - but the bottom line is still red and VERY red at that. So although things are getting better - its just not good enough. I don't know whats going to happen - but seeing things like this is very hard because it is out of our hands at this point..
Here is a pic by request

Back is looking great, as are those popping shoulders!! Nice work chickie! I am the same, I love lifting heavy and hard!
I always finish my plate too. My solution to that at the moment is to not put so much on my plate, and before I sit down to eat I take what is left, put it in tupperware in the fridge. Then I am not inclined to have seconds

I am not sure what Emma-Leigh's numbers mean......but if she exclaims she is happy than it is For Sure a Great Thing!
Keep it up Girly!!!
As for your work being in The Red....you're not alone hun.
Our job is fighting to pick-up too.
It's tuff for Everyone....but we all have to remain positive, and work hard, we cannot give up.
You can bring it back up, Mandy, be determined and positive. In this world, there is Real and Make-Believe. To fear is one thing. To let fear grab you by the tail and swing you around is another. ▪█──────█▪

Hello BEAUTIFUL ladies!!!
Josh and I had a fabulous time down at the beach! It was much needed and I honestly cannot remember the last time I was so happy. But now I miss him like crazy !! I found an amazing little consigment shop and spent way too much money - but it was so much fun having a fashion show...lol!
I had Japanese 3 nights last week during my rest week - YUM YUM! I fully enjoyed it and really tried to listen to my body and tried to focus on not feeling any sort of guilt - which I think I did pretty damn good! Guess what else I had - my first watermelon of the season (uhhh....ohhhh) My rest week was great but I was so excited to get back in the gym. I'll be honest I enjoyed having the free time, but once I read over my new program I was so anxious to watch these muscles grow. This program is going to be so much fun!!
Emma and myself both agree that I am moving in the right direction. I have been working with Emma for 10 months now and I have decreased my bodyfat, while increasing my lean mass - WOO HOO!! If I ever start doubting my results all I have to do is look at the comparison pics. My biggest change is in my booty! I've always had a pancake ass - but not anymore - I've actually got a little round thing goin on....hehe!
I have lots of new recipes I plan on trying the next few weeks - so I will keep you posted. I really want to try Angela's chicken mole recipe! I actually roasted vegetables for the first time tonight and they were amazing. They actually didn't even make it to my dinner plate
Today is my mom's birthday! And for everyone that has followed this journey with me knows that this day is more than a birthday. This is an anniversary of life. On her 47th birthday she had 3 massive heart attacks - which was the huge turning point for me. So lots of hugs to my mom down in Florida - I wish I was there with you and Ms. Megin!!!
This morning I tried a new class called Body Flow. It was different, but I think it'll really help with my stretching. I am always sore somewhere and then all these problems with my knees - I think the yoga/pilates can only help me. So - I hope to do it about 3x a week.
How about some workouts - its been awhile since I've posted any:
Monday
Machine Row: 80#
BB Push Press: 50#
Assissted Chin Ups: 52#
Arnold Press: 15#
Lateral Raise: 5#
Full Range Front Raises: 8#
Straight Arm Pull Downs: 30#
Close BB Curl: 30#
OH Rope Extension: 25#
Tuesday
RDL: 95#
Box Squats: 110#
Seated Leg Press: 130#
Single Leg Press: 75#
Pull Throughs: 45#
Calves: 170# (on leg press)
Weighted Crunch: 25#
Leg Extensions: 80# (These make me nervous bc of my knees!!)
Prone Leg Curls: 80#
Machine Crunch: 57#
Wend.
a.m. Body Flow
p.m. Crazy Cardio - guess what I pulled out today??? The good ol' weighted vest that I've had put away because of my knees - lets hope the extra stretching will help!
I hope you are all having a great week!!
Good luck Ms. Tricia this weekend!!

wow, can't believe it's been 10 months with Emma! Glad to hear you are having super results! You seem much happier, and content with your body too!
uh oh, watermelon!!! tee hee'Cause sometimes you just feel tired, you feel weak
And when you feel weak you feel like you want to just give up
But you gotta search within you, you gotta find that inner strength
And just pull that *** out of you and get motivation to not give up
And not be a quitter, no matter how bad you want to just fall flat on your face and collapse.

You sound like a totally different person than you were 10 months ago! More secure and confident..less afraid of food! And w/ an ass to boot!

I know right - time has flown!!! Thanks for being here through it all!!
Hell yeah!! I feel like a completley differnt person and I am loving the ass - as is Josh :P
So - I had a great sweaty workout this morning - this is by far my favorite program so far!!!
I tried this new NO supplement from True Protein - and it was the nastiest tasting **** I've ever put in my mouth - uggghhhh....but I refuse to waste money....lol! Maybe it'll get better with time! (always gotta have wishful thinking right..)
So I am really working on meeting people and getting a life - outside of work and Josh! It wouldn't bother me as much if Josh lived her - but all he doesn't and I want girlfriends!! I miss that!! So - I am trying to reconnect with some old friends I've lost touch with. I was really wrapped up in my ex and hopefully they will forgive me, but if they do not I cannot blame them. I'm also going to start networking for the company so that should also help take me outside of my comfort zone and meet new people.
I had a quick break at work and wanted to say hey!!
I've missed you guys - its nice to take a break and read up on everyone!!
