Hello
This is my first post on the BB.com Forums so forgive me if I use the wrong bodybuilding terms.
Ok, so I've signed up to get some advice on a bodybuilding workout routine I plan to use. My primary goal is to gain muscle... fast, if possible. I should also say that I want more muscle all around the body, but my pecs, shoulders, forearms and abs are my main concern.
I'm 18, have a height of roughly 6'1 and am skinny (I weigh about 55kg, which is like 8.5 stone). I've been playing around with a few different workouts and I think I've finally made a good one for me, but I need to know if it's good enough to get a lot of muscle quickly.
Ok, so here's my self-made workout routine:
Exercises (will be done in the order shown)
Exercises A:
Press ups x12
Shoulder presses x12 (standing up)
Bicep curls x12 (standing up)
Tricep bench dips x12
Incline chest flys x12 (lying down on cushioned boxes/wooden crates)
repeated 2 more times
Exercises B:
Crunches x12
Pull ups x12
Sqauts x12
Calf raises x12
(another ab exercise. suggestions?) x12
repeated 2 more times
Days
Monday - A
Tuesday - rest
Wednesday - B
Thursday - rest
Friday - A
Saturday - rest
Sunday - B
I only have time to do maximum 1 hour of bodybuilding every other day. I'll be doing them after school. I'll also be using forearm grippers (need to buy) every other day for 5-10mins.
I know I need to eat lots and get at least 8 hours sleep every night. That should be fine. I plan to take one tablespoon of Casalin 90 protein powder after each workout. I may also get round to ordering some protein bars as general snacks (mmm.. chocolate protein goodness..)
I have a ton of other advice and questions, but I'll make more threads for those.
Thanks for reading

I'm a newb as well, but if there's one thing I've learned, it's not to make your own plan if you are inexperienced. Probably the most popular routine, which is working great for me, is Rippetoe's program --->

It doesn't seem like much, but it's all compound work along w/ some optional accessory work. Don't change the plan at all, follow it, and you will see great gains. It simply works. Read some stickies too, I learned quite a bit from them. Hope this helps.
