Well Healthy. I did the declines today. I didn't have a spotter, so I didn't max out. BUT, I normally get 315 for 4 or 5 on flat bench. I did decline after working up to 365 on flat bench. I had 315 on the bar, and did 6 reps and stopped. I had a lot more in me though. I feel like I could have gotten 9 or 10.
After the declines though, my shoulders ached a lot more than when I do flat. Does decline involve the shoulders more?So I'm not as strong as you...It doesn't mean that I can't kick your ass.

Also, I know that incline uses shoulders more, but decline?? I'll report to you about how I feel when doing them. Maybe they do?? OR, maybe it was all of the benching you did...
Once again, THANKS!! Good luck with the acheness!

I did get FLAT Close Grip Bench with 135lbs for 5 reps, but went to failure.... On July before the 10th, my record was 80lbs for five for Flat close grip bench. So I wonder what my FLAT max is now..
Oh yeah, I didn't feel anything different with my shoulders...
