This whole conversation just sparked quite the conversation between my boyfriend and myself. Truth be told, neither of us really qualify as actual bodybuilders: he is a professional wrestler and I'm totally new. At the same time, however, he is far different from other guys I've been with and I've noticed a difference in myself, as well, since I started working out and eating well.

He has a pretty tremendous sex-drive, but I've been with other guys who aren't healthy at all who have fantastic sex-drives. The difference is we tend to see each other over the weekends only, which is when he's travelling and has shows, so by the time we're at home together, alone, he's whipped... and not by me, unfortunately.

I, on the other hand, am way more into sex since I started getting in shape. I feel like a total rock star most of the time, and even my boyfriend sees the difference in my behavior, especially in THAT regard. **wink** So the few times we can both get into it fully at the same time, it's fantastic.

A couple of things that are pretty unique about us:
He can only do once a day.
I don't have orgasms that aren't self-induced, and I never have been able to.
He is more enthusiastic about trying new things than anyone else I've been with, and I'm more enthusiastic than ever about doing them myself. He's definitely a keeper.

The once a day thing...maybe it's an energy thing? My boyf hauls tires for 8 hours a day on rotating day/afternoon/night shifts, so I can't really blame him for wanting to sleep!

Ever since i've gotten serious about this lifestyle, im not wanting to have sex nearly as much or thinking about it as often, and thats all I used to think about, starting to worry me a little bit, somethings not goin on right because, the last time I did do it, just really didn't get into it AT ALL....thats funny you all ask this because i think my testosterone levels have gone to **** or something, dont know....good question though.

lol. take a break from working out so hard. to me an intense workout is like sex. workouts and sex both use our testosterone. right after an intense workout i could care less about sex. but the next day when my test levels spike back up i wanna **** like crazy ;]

ugh..i've always had a terribly high sex drive...now the more i work out.the worse its getting..lol..my bf drive isnt as high as mine. he's bodybuilding, and getting sexier by the day..which isnt helping!! haha hopefully it changes soon..or im gunna have to start throwin him around.hehe....though with him, he doesnt like doing things that are expected..so i just have to play hard to get now..

How many of us women out there are dating bodybuilders. Now how many of us women dating bodybuilders are having the sex our friends THINK we're having? Give me your thoughts on this one because it still blows my mind how different things really are. My friends always say, "damn you guys look like you have amazing sex" and I say..." Yeah, when we get around to it". Do you find that male bodybuilders have higher libidos or a lower sex-drive than your previous mates? What do you feel is more important to them? Sex or Training? While I'm on a training break my sex drive skyrockets as it is currently . It is ridiculous...maybe because my energy reserves are building. I did find a coorelation between training intensity and sex drive. If I trained ultra-intensely I found my drive would be moderate and when I backed off a little it would be higher. When diet, training and sleep are well balanced it is great but is a mixed blessing now that I'm single...

I actually believe that it depends on the person. Honestly, my drive is rediculously high when the right person entices me. I think that is all men. Certain things turn me on and certain things turn me off. Stress is a total turnoff...I think attachments alter the libido because you're emotionally attached to someone and when they do certain things or you expect them to dissappoint you in some way you want them less...

Something new always seems to look better then. In a situation where there are no distractors like stress or over-committing yourself then you feel free and find yourself as "free-spirit" as you used to be.

Try different things and be creative...try not to let the stress of training or the relationship get to you and if he still doesn't get it right after that...get a friend. (j/k)
