    Knee cap pain

    Ok, I big into running and latly my right knee cap has been swollen. My knee cap looks like a apple. I have taken a week off from the gym to recover and I noticed the pain is gone but my knee is still swollen. Is it allright to start running again. I think my knee just filled up with fluid, but is it safe to hit the gym again?
