    Pretty much the only way to find out.

    I do both in the same week all of the time. I prefer to keep trap bar deads in the higher rep range for hypertrophy. Regular deads I focus more on strength in the 1-5 rep range.

    All I do for legs is Deadlifts and Trapbar deadlifts now.

    I do reg DLs 3x3, and Trapbar deads 4x10. I've watched some movies of people doing TBDLs on youtube, mostly defrancos training ones and they seem to deadlift the bar up rather than squat it up like I do.

    How about TBDL 3x5 one day and SLDL 3x10 another day/week for legs?
