Im of two minds about this. One the one hand, the dumb ass was arrogant enough to go back to a country he was wanted for the crime (which has a VERY different significance in places like austria and germany than it does in the uk....its a law there that holocaust denying is illegal). But it still seems like a law arresting people for being stupid. If being stupid was illegal, Syriankid would be in jail for life.
Then again, if Muslims get pissed off enough to kill people over cartoons, why cant Jews be pissed off and punish those who insult them? Except they did it legally.

Irving was stupid, he went back to Austria knowing full well what would happen, I question his intelligence more than I question the law, he was cocky, he made his bed, now he can lie in it.Russell Wilson, the first QB in NFL history to throw a game-winning interception.

Well I just read this guy is getting three years in prison because he plead guilty. Now that this guy was arrested for just saying an opinion shouldn't we go arrest anyone who ever wrote a conspiracy theory, lets go arrest that guy that was on Oprah who wrote a million little pieces, we know he lied. This is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen. So he wrote a book saying the holocaust didn't happen for some reasons, I have read some and although I think he is an idiot i don't think he deserves prison time. Its a damn book. Why is it that people get so worked up over nothing these days? It is up to the reader to do more research and decide for themselves if they think it is true or not. Stupidest thing I have read all day. makes me mad that he is going to jail, what ever happened to freedom of speech?
The article I read was short and didn't give much detail, what crime did they actually charge him with?I do not discriminate against different aminos. I love all aminos equally.

It's illegal to deny the holocaust in austria, for obvious reasons as it is in Germany.

Imagine if those Danish cartoonists went down to Saudi Arabia? They would not be in prison for 3 years, they'd be headless.Russell Wilson, the first QB in NFL history to throw a game-winning interception.
