Hello people,
I have a little story for you and a short question. It would be very appreciated if I could get some answers / opinions from you people.
I have been training for quite a while, I'm not a hobbysporter but it's more like a lifestyle to me. A while ago my weight was 78 kg with 6% fat. My goal was simple; I was rather dry, had a sixpack but wanted to get somewhat bigger, because my goal is not to be bigsized, but I do want to be strong and in shape, more like a beachbody. Anyway, I completed my goal, followed a schedule from a trained marineer, and it worked. I gained 8.5 kg in 2 months. My muscles became significantly bigger (no picture on profile), so I was rather happy. On the other end, my fat percentage went from 6 to 12%. Not that 12 is a high fat percentage, but the difference between 6 and 12 is easily vincible. Thereby I noticed that when your training gets harder and you focus more on musclebuilding, you need a good diet AND do a lot of excercise like cardio next to it in order to keep a low fat percentage, because your eating more to build muscle. I have an easy body, I have no problem losing fat nor gaining weight. Either way it would be easier for me to have a proper diet which will keep me around the same percentage. Therefore, I have a question. What kind of diet would be proper for me in order to achieve my goals.
My goals could be described like.
- Pobbility to grow
- Keep my fat percentage around 8% (6 was a bit too low for my like)
It would be very appreciated if I could have some of your opinions
Thanks,
Marly
