    Why would you want to replace it? I can see it being beneficial for the entire electrolyte issue, but that is really only going to be valid if you are doing intense exercise for 90 minutes or more. You could also buy water with electrolytes (I don't remember the brand name though, sorry)

    I personally count that the calories in Gatorade and such just weren't worth it for me, at least while cutting.

    just stick to drinking water during your workout and leave the gatorade for post workout.

    gatorade has dextrose in it, it'll give you a really fast insulin spike..which isn't too optimal during your workout (it will give you a good energy boost i guess). The thing is you need a insulin spike after you workout, so leave it for your PWO shake and you'll be fine.

    Do both. IMO it is better to have your Gatorade( high GI sugars ) DURING your WO with Whey, and some added BCAA's, not PWO. Drink water with it.

    Both Pedialite and Rehydralite are water + electrolytes. The taste is somewhat similar to ocean water.

    There is a new brand of water that the local health food store sells that is water with electrolytes but doesn't have that crapass taste of Pedialite.. I'll find out what it is called when I go to the store on Monday.

    I would only drink gatorade if I were in the gym for 2 hours or more.
    Water is more than enough, and the additioanl of sodium and sugars is not worth it to me.. takes a good amount of energy to use your supply of electrolites
