lack of arm growth
i've been working out pretty hard for about a year and all of my muscles have grown a good amount. My arms, one of the things i wanted to improve most, haven't really grown. i'll give you a run-down of my workout and tell me what is wrong:
I work biceps with my chest and legs and i normally do 3 sets of alternating curls, isolation curls, the curl machine, and sitting hammer curls; all at close to maximum weight.
I work my triceps with my back and shoulders and the workout varies. i consistantly do kick backs, dips, overhead extensions, and the extension machine.
I eat a lot of protein and have overall a sound diet. i eat a LOt of food, but healthy food. so what's wrong?

do biceps and back one day day. do shoulders triceps and chest on another day. so you do 3 sets of each of those exercises for biceps right?

Your 6'2'' 160 lbs eat more! add skull crusher and barbell curls instead of all the dumbells.

Close grip bench press can really help with your tricep mass.

you can workout all you want and beat your muscles to death, but if you dont replenish your body with the right carbs/protein/fats/water your body will not grow.. you need to eat.. with your height and weight, you sound like a beanpole.. up your cals 500, add in another meal.. try 6 meals a day 6-700 cals a piece

ONE WORD: CELLTECH. i usually do biceps and triceps together on one day, i dunno, works for me, try mixing up ur excerises to, do sum knew things, guess it like shocks the muscles by getting them out of a routine and starts em growing again, i dunno, heard that sumwhere and it sounds logicval

I have the same problem as OP. All my other muscles are progressing fine, just not my arms. Im gaining weight (muscle of course) so I know I'm eating enough. I'm not sure what the problem might be....but what if you're overtraining your arms? Although that might not be because biceps usually recover quick, as well as the tricep, so its alright to work them twice a week, once isolation, and once with chest/back. i use the same routine as OP

ive said this before and i`ll say it again, if you do a proper workout, including all the main exercises, deadlifts, squats, bench, shoulder press, rows, you should not have to do any more than 2 sets for tri's or bi's afterwards. kick backs suck. id drrop them, women started them with soup cans.
like a guy said earlier, switch to a chest tri and back bi routine.
do your chest workout and then follow it with max 3 sets of a tri exercise. i highly recommend dips, skull crushers are ok.
and bis, do them AFTER back, max 3 sets as well.
i think your problem is your over working your arms, they dont need it.i havent dont a curl in years
