Best Bench Press for Around 100-150?
Ive been looking around and online, i dont like cheap flimsy products, but for now i only need something basic (still without the flimsy). The one that looks like it would be the best quality for the kinda lower price end would have to be the Gold's Gym XR 10 or XR 15.
I believe they are the same thing but the XR10 is sold specifically at walmart.
Any suggestions or maybe comments or reveiws on the one ive listed. Or maybe do you know of another one.

I think have the XR 15 which I got from walmart.com. It has a lat pulldown which appears not to come with the XR 10.
I am a beginner and really have nothing to compare this bench to, but I really like my bench. It was a bargin @ $105. It does what I need it to.

Im not really big on buying used goods. But i am just looking for a sturdy bench at 100-150 or maybe even less. Im still in college so im not looking to go all out right now or n e thing, but i do want something that isnt going to be flimsy and that will last.

my cousin seems to like his fine. Its a little cheap to me but is a good deal. If you are under 300# in bench it should be fine. Also you can do squats with it so thats nice!

The XR-10 seems nice for the price. The part you lay on seems a bit wobble (sp?), it does not seem to lay down to a true decline position, it seems a little on the narrow side (42") compared to mine @ 48" wide. I dont like crawling over the leg extension each time to bench.
Its just a few SMALL things. You get what you pay for. I would have it for sure at a summer house or as a temporary item like I think you want.

So is there another one that you would maybe reccomend that maybe is cheaper or even a lil more that isnt wobbly at all and is a great bang for the buck. I just hate flimsy sh!t.

Flimsy is what you'll get for $100. You really shouldn't have a concern about buying used equipment, there's nothing wrong with it assuming it wasn't abused.

He is on the money. That bench is an aweome set for $110.00. I bet you could not find an equivalent for less than $200.00 at somewhere besdies wlamart. However you gonna get what you pay for.
If that ant what you want be patient and find a commercial unit on ebay or craigslist for around $200.00. I have seen several awesome deals like that. You just have to be patient.

xr10
The incline for bench is uncomfortable. i would not put over 200 lbs on the bar. good for a beginner.

heres another choice.....the Marcy Monster Olympic bench for $150 at Dick's sporting goods. i just ordered it and seems like a pretty nice bench for everything including squats.

Marcy's not that bad for that price although I wouldn't consider it high quality. Not bad for beginners as long as you're not lifting very heavy.
