Scorch / Vaporize log
I began my stack of Scorch and Vaporize yesterday. I'm cutting and been at my current calories/diet plan for just over a week. I'll leave my diet the same (only slight variations) for the duration of my log.
Stats (sad but true)
Age: 34
Female
Height: 5' 9"
Weight: 154
Bodyfat: 23% (not convinced how accurate this is but I'll be consistent
with measuring technique so it should work for tracking purposes)
Training: upper/lower split. lifting every other day.
cardio: 3 times per week. 20 minutes intervals + 10 min steady
state.
Diet: 1550 calories
40% P, 35% C, 25% F
Additional supplements: multi-vitamin/mineral, 3 fish oil caps, mrp, whey (post workout only)
Please feel free to point out any glaring omissions on my log. I want to be a good product tester for MAN and for others interested in these products. I'm grateful for the opportunity!

Yesterday was my first day on the stack. I'll be taking 3 Vaporize (1 with 3 meals) a day and 4 Scorch per day (2 twice a day on empty stomach)
Initial impressions: Vaporize - nothing to "notice" the first day. (isn't that kind of supplement). No problems to report so that's good. Scorch - didn't notice anything with my first dose. After the 2nd dose I definitely felt it kick in. Very warm and ready to hit the gym. Lots of energy. (unfortunately the freaking air conditioning was broken at the gym and it was close to 90 degrees yesterday). Done complaining about being sweaty.
Good workout but nothing remarkable.
Cardio seemed a bit easier this morning. Could be from the Scorch. I absolutely LOATHE cardio since it involves two things I hate: 1) cardio
2) getting up earlier in the morning.
That's all for now. I'll update at least a few times per week.

That is what I am talking about! Good to see you are focused and moving forward.
I know, it may be much to ask, but is there any way you would feel comfortable posting before and after pictures for us?

Thanks! Moving forward is better than staying stuck or sliding backwards.
I actually took before photos and was more than a little horrified by them.
I thought I knew what to expect...but guess I've been averting my eyes from the damn mirror lately.
How 'bout this. Let me keep going and I'll post both before and after at the end. Would that be tolerable? Not so sure I can get the guts up to post the befores until I get some real distance from them....but I knew it was the "right" thing to do so I took the photos. I can take updates every 4 weeks (and finish up after 12)
Deal?

Not a whole lot to report (it's only Day 2) but a small observation and a random note:
1) I like the way I feel with Scorch so far. It's a smooth feeling more than an edgy vibe if that makes sense. I've taken EC in the past and while I always say I tolerate it pretty well (I have to start w/2 doses per day for a week before going up to 3) it makes me slightly bitchy. Yeah - I said it.
I don't usually notice it much myself but the people around me do.
2) I'm already dreading tomorrow's cardio. I hate it that much.
Tonight will be legs. Diet: On according to plan.
One question on Scorch - after I take a dose how long should I wait before eating? Is it ok if I eat my first meal 30 minutes after taking my first dose in the morning or better to wait longer?

Eating 30 minutes after a dose should be fine

That little warmth and calm, not overly-hyped or edgy feeling from Scorch is really comforting...at least in my eyes .
Good luck with your progress on this cut and with this stack nikegurl!

We have a deal.
It is much easier posting before pictures, when you have some after pictures next to them showcasing the twisted steel and sex appeal.

update (of sorts since it's only day 4)
diet - on according to plan. i like my 5 meals so i've had the same ones every day so far and probably will keep doing that until i stop liking them.
i'm hungry about 1/2 hour before it's time to eat but very tolerable so far.
cardio - done this morning. 20 minutes intervals on treadmill + 10 minutes steady state on recumbant bike. i still hate it.
gym - legs last night. didn't go according to plan. i was on the way to the gym and got a phone call from my apartment building. neighbors up in arms b/c my tv is blaring to the point that they're all convinced it was turned up that loud to cover up a murder (hello? methinks they watch too much csi)
had to turn around and go home to find my stupid (i mean wonderful loveable) cat had stepped on the remote control and turned the volume up so high the walls were practically shaking.
it's 1/2 hour drive to the gym so i was lame and used the apartment complex gym. that meant 6 sets of leg extensions and 6 sets of leg curls (no free weights). i did dropsets for the last 2 of each. better than nothing. not as good as squatting. not even close. i should have just driven back but it was late and....i was a wuss.
SCORCH - i like it. makes me happy i only notice the getting warm thing after my 2nd dose of the day. (which is fine and may even go away. just an observation)
VAPORIZE - i'm taking it. don't think there's anything to "notice" at this point.

At least you were productive and trained. If this happens again, just make sure and keep your rest down in between sets to make up for the intensity. But seeing as you did dropsets, sounds as if your workout was indeed productive.
Oh, and by the way, a bunch of people around here that are on SCORCH call them "The Happy Pills".

weight loss: 2 lbs in 1st week.
patience may be a virtue...but it isn't one of MY virtues.
supplements: no missed doses. i don't notice the increase in body temp anymore. (not a problem - just an observation)
cardio: not missed...but altered. my usual plan is 20 minutes of intervals followed by 10 minutes steady state on a different machine. i've got a sinus infection and feeling crappy. not the very WORST - but killer headache. i know me though and when something throws me off track i tend to go ALL the way off track. i decided not to miss my cardio but all i managed was a "stroll" on the treadmill at a steep incline for 20 minutes.
diet: i fiddle with a meal here and there but sticking pretty close to the numbers and original plan.
yesterday's totals:
1535 calories
163 g protein (42% of calories)
125 g carbs (32% calories)
44 g fat (25% calories)
i'm hoping i can lose another 2 lbs this week. a little worried b/c my cardio isn't all it could / should be since i'm sick....but i'll make my best effort and see how it goes.

I am glad to see you staying the course. One thing I would like to see is you take 5% of your calories and move it away from the fat and towards the protein.
I suspect in the next week or two you will notice the Vaporize "kicking" in and your body becoming tighter.
Thanks for the update.

I can do that. One thing (in case it matters....) I count my fish oil caps when I figure out my calorie / fat intake.
The macros and totals vary a bit from day to day but I'll cut the fat a bit lower and boost the protein over the next day or so and keep 'em there (until or unless you suggest I revise things)
Thanks!

That is funny, because I was asking you to lower them knowing that you were taking Vaporize and fish oils. I do think you will be better served to stay closer to 20% of total calories with your carbs being over 30%. If you lower your carbs, then you can up your fat a bit. Anyhow, as long as you are hitting that 2 lbs. a week mark for weight/fat loss, all is well.

I have some Vaporize sitting on my shelf that I'm going to start in about a month. I've started cutting now but want to get off whatever fat I can via diet/cardio alone before starting the burner. Anyhow did you ever take Vaporize alone? I know you're stacking with Scorch so it's hard to separate the effects of the two but I'm wondering how much Vaporize is going to 'hop me up' during the day...

Vaporize is a stimulant free fat burner. I can assure you that it is not going to "hop you up" at all when taken by itself.
