Water retention - NEED HELP

Hi there - here's the quickie on my issue.
Competed in Oct 2005. 2 days following the comp, I gained 25 lbs of water weight. It's now Feb 12th, and I am still retaining water in a big way.
Checked Electrolyte levels, and all is okay. I'm not showing deficiency in any way. I drink 4L of water a day, but think they may now be too much.
All train 4-5 times a week (both weights and cardio)
Need advice!!! ... and tips please!

I'm assuming you follow a very strict diet, so too much sodium intake probably isn't the issue. If you do happen to take in excess amounts though, your body will hold on to more water to keep it diluted to proper levels. How is your blood pressure (compaired to what it normally was), and do you have any edema (usually is swelling around the ankles after you have been up for a little while)? Another route to look is endocrine disorders, especially if roids have been involved (I'm not saying you use them).
Bloating, or water retention, can be associated with some supplements as well, but 25lbs seems excessive to me. I would consider getting hormone levels checked (for endocrine disorders).
I know this is a lot and kindof rambling, but I've had 3.5 hrs of sleep. Hope this helped.
