Question newbie looking to get bigger

ok you'll know i'm new to this after u read what im about to say..

i'm 5'6 and about 120-125 lbs, i'm pretty skinny or even boney cause i have like no fat. i used to be very fit and weight like 10 - 15 lbs more and had muscle. i lost it all though and don't participate in as many sports any more cause i'm in college. so there is my question....

i want to know some ways i can basically gain muslce, but not lean muslce cause i want it to show an di want to get bigger. my arms are tiny. whats the best workout schedule to help me with this? reps and days a week and which kinda of things should i do, i know this is vague so just help me out and u can ask me questions. thanks. oh and i need the results by 4 months time.

i want to gain weight but food doesn't seem to be doing it cause i do'nt have time to eat but i don't want to just gain fat or what not, i want the weight from muscle. thanks.

Smile muscles

hello pisces2004,

you want to gain muscle try to lift very heavy weights, you may feel sore for about 2 to 4 weeks but keep pushing your self the pain will go away. WARM UP your muscles by doing a few small reps with a lighter weight but not to light.if you dont warm up you can hurt yourself if you lift heavy with cold muscles. if you can lift a weight more then 12 times then your lifting too light of a weight. do 8 to 12 reps, and do about 3 to 5 sets. you must lift heavy 5 or 6 days in a week. eat lots of protein

workout example:

sun: off
mon: calves, thighs
tues: biceps, tri, abs
wed:back, chest
thur: off
fri: calves, thighs, abs
sat: biceps, tri, back

what are your measurements? every month or two take your measurements to help you see your resolts.
