    Talking Myoplex: how do you eat yours? (post workout shake)

    anyone here using myoplex as a post workout shake?

    i read alan's post on the Pre, During, & Postworkout Nutrition thread and decided to follow his advice. i'm just working on my post-workout shake, using myoplex, but i'm not getting enough carbs to protein ratio - and i wondered if anybody has already put a good one together.

    i got so far:

    1/2 myoplex
    1 banana
    4 strawberries
    12 oz soya milk

    OR

    1 myoplex
    1 banana
    4 strawberries
    12 oz soya milk

    either shake gives me fewer carbs than i'd like - adding an extra banana gets close, but i have to swallow this stuff and it's like cement

    don't get me wrong: i'll eat whatever but i'm thinking there's probably a few of you with nicer shakes than mine?

    I personally don't like Myoplex and Myoplex Lite, due to inferior ingredients. Myoplex Deluxe is far superior. Anyway, if you already bought a lot of it, I wouldn't consume two bananas, maybe 1/2 and strawberries. I would add some oats to your shake too.

    * 1 Myoplex
    * 1/3 cup raw oats
    * 1/2 banana and strawberries
    * Milk/water

    If I had an option, I wouldn't use bananas period. Berries are superior.

    Saw what MRP do you use? I liked the VPX graham cracker one. I have not tried the new Delux at all. I heard they changed the formula instead of using malto they use whole grains.

    They use whole grains in lieu of maltodextrin, which is fantastic. I currently have VPX Micellean Graham Cracker, Prolab Lean Mass Matrix and Instone. I usually just make it myself, like you do

    * Oats
    * Whey/casein
    * EFA's
    * Milk/water
