I can ride the exercise bike all day and have no problems is there a large difference between the two? what are the pros and cons of one or the other? thanks..

Just a personal preference. I like the treadmill to do all my cardio. If you like the bike, thats fine.

In a bike a 200lbs person would burn the same amount of calories than a 160lbs one, obviously this won't happen in a treadmill...

Bikes are easier because you don't pedal at a constant moment. The machine can't control it. If you set a certain speed on a treadmill you have to run that speed or slow it down/fall off. I've tried both and I can only push myself on a treadmill. THats probably why you can do the treadmill longer because you are not pedaling hard....

On an exercise bike, if you don't pedl fast enough, the machine shuts off. Also, for cardio puposes, you shouldn't be running so fast on a treadmill that you can't keep up with it. Plus, that what those safety clips are for

I can bike at a steady increasing pace for a longer time then im able to run increasing my pace steadily on a treadmill.... I just wanted to know if there is a difference burning calories on a bike or treadmill ..which would produce better results.. sorry for the misconseption

Yea a treadmill burns more calrories than a bike, assuming you walk/run at the same pace.
