Thread: 18" arms

    Question 18" arms

    I've been training for over a year now, and my first year was mostly about cutting otu the extra fat I was carrying around. Yes, i was a fat kid at one time, but have changed my ways. Since training, my arms are at 15 3/4 inches, but I would like them to be around 18"...a size i figure that is not too much out of my reach. Does anyone have any suggestions to gaining some heavy mass in the arms, I was thinking about working them out twice a week. Any info would be helpful.

    agreed.....

    if you want big arms you need a big body.......start eating

    putting 2 inches on your arms naturally will most likely take a few years

    your age says 19, you should have no problem getting to 18" if you heed the above advice

    Hey! I’m going for 18” too! I reached a Plato a little while ago, and as the guys say here you’ve got to increase your lean body weight to get them moving again. I’m up 15 pounds from last year and added quarter of an inch making the arms a good 17 and a quarter.
    So Eat and eat clean, Good Luck!

    very true. compounds like bb rows, and bench will really grow your arms bigger. a little direct work will help too, but dont overdue it. maybe just like bb curls for your bis, and something for your tris.

    not that easy to get lean 18s is it... you see plenty of guys with big arms - big fat arms - but lean 18+ inch arms no not that many.
