derickONFIRE's -- RECOMP CONTEST LOG of 2008 (Legends Never Die, part 3)
LEGENDS NEVER DIE, part 3
Body Transformation Contest Log of 2008
History::.
Past Logs:
Part 1: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=4315763
Part 2: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=4966323
Became diet and nutrition conscious in May, 07 after I started reading these forums. Towards the end of August, 2007 - I began weight lifting. Prior to that I mainly just did cardio / walking / running. Noticed awesome weight loss with the introduction of weight lifting, and after learning a bit more about proper form and techniques - I began to enjoy lifting more than cardio.
When I was in High School, I weighed 250lbs and wore a size 44+ pant. I was insanely depressed and had no confidence. After lots of work - I am to where I am now. My confidence and motivation in life has skyrocketed, but I still have a long way to go.
Lately, I've introduced cardio conditioning to my workout - complexes and plyometric / body weight type of routines. These are usually done intra or post weights. I have no formal 'fighting / boxing / MAA' training, but I want to start eventually. Because of this, I try to gear my workout routine towards helping me with this goal in the future.

Oh god.. don't remind me!
I'm going to have to do that before the pool / beach!
BTW - today is deadlift day! woot.
Not going for any PR's, since I'm trying to go strapless from now on, but it'll still be a fun day.

Chalk + Over/Under Grip + Hook Grip = Deadlift PRs

So I heard =p
I can't afford chalk atm though... hell, I can't even afford more creatine atm. I'm screwed.
I hope I have enough to last until the 5th+time for shipping.. otherwise the next week or two is gonna be ROCKY.

Dude WTF, chalk is like $2 for a huge block.
Edit bb.com sells 8 blocks for $9, 1 block would last you a long time since you would use it sparingly, go get the change from your car and head to academy and get some chalk, LOL

I think I need the change in my car and at home for gas, cottage cheese, milk, eggs, and chicken!
I shouldn't have paid off all my debt last month, lol.. see what happens when you try to be responsible?
