I am a Type 1 as well, and I have used a wide variety of supplements of different types and manufacturers without negatively impacting my glucose levels or A1c. Experiment, test your sugars often, and cover any supplements that contain carbs with a bolus and you will find that diabetes is not as restricting as it may initially seem.
