Dr. Scott Connelly has reported that Billy Carpenter, aka Billy Carp here on Getbig.com (and BB.com), has passed away. I verified it today with Mindspin, who has worked with Billy a number of years while at Met-Rx, as well as Scott Connelly. Unfortunately, what we have heard is true...

It is with great torment that I report the death of Billy Carpenter on 29 Jan 2006. Cause of death is unknown. Billy was my colleague, my workout partner, and above all my best friend. His passing has left me temporarily incapacitated. I will announce updates on memorials etc. as I regain my composure and am properly informed. Billy enjoyed being part of your community and will be dearly missed by many.

I can't say I've heard of him, but still very sad
anyone who could get age and cause of death, it would be appreciated.
I can't help but wonder if the old schoolers are dieing from previous steroid use...

It's horrible no matter the case. It sounds as if he was not very old. It's my concern, and the reason I brought it up, is because the new supps are steroids, and I would not want the same fate.Originally Posted by freakie

I doubt that would have anything to do with it. Everyone is different, and say the guy was taking creatine and ephedrine, would that mean you would never buy it again? No. Who knows, you can't worry about that. All you can do is pay respects to a good man who probably died way to early.
