I don't care about rings. Kobe has just as much talent as MJ. No question.

Kobe is scary good, but MJ was on another level.
Kobe still has a few years in him but, and its finally looking like Kobe reached the level of maturity that Jordan got when he started trusting teammates, its just unlucky bynum got hurt.
But how he plays the next 3-4 years i think will cement his legacy as either dependant on shaq... or one of the greatest

Jordan is by far better...its really not even close...
Hes a better scorer...not peremiter shooter but overall much better (Higher ppg and much higher FG%
Hes a better defender....Only other guard to win Defensive player of the year since him was gary payton
Woulda won 8 rings if he hadnt retired..possibly more if he hadnt retired a second time
kobe has something like 80 40pt games....jordan has like 173
Only player with more 3's in the playoffs then Jordan is Robert horry

This thread is a joke.. the OP is obviously a homer.
What has Kobe done in LA since Shaq left besides losing in the first round? At least Shaq won another championship after he left LA.
What has Kobe been doing since Bynum went down? Oh yea losing. Not sure if you saw LBJ drop that jumper over Kobe last night to take the lead and win the game.. good stuff
I mean cmon.. Kobe hasnt even won a damn MVP award and your trying to compare him to Jordan. cmon.
The only thing Kobe is.. is a rapist.Packers - Bucks - Brewers - Badgers
Green Bay Packers - Super Bowl XLV Champions!

yea, you're right about Jordan's quickness. I meant overall, Vince was superior.
I don't know about the hang time part. Vince's jumps were with such force that he was bounded to come down faster. I bet if he wanted to hang in the air, rather than slam down powerful dunks, he could hang longer than MJ. Not to mention that Vince's body coordination is greater than MJ too."Wack it in the bathroom, its what I do. The reason why Kobe is not as good as Jordan, is his basketball mind. Jordan would create so many shots for his team. Kobe does not do this, at least yet (though he is starting to). I also think Jordan was a better defender.
Hence, the rings.
I dont really like Kobe as a person, but his talent level is close to MJ.
