do you mean why i still go to church? if so...its because my dad forces me to go to church no matter what i believe, he doesnt really care how i view things, he wants to go it means i have to go, and he feels as long as i live under his house, i live under his rules.

Yes, that and the majority of christians that i have met seem incredibly brainwashed...they can believe such rediculous stories but REFUSE to believe anything about any other religion that makes 10 times more sense. Its to ignorant.

Adam and Eve?...so a man just out of NOWHERE pops up...then a woman is created...from his rib?? ONE MAN building a huge arc...and fitting 2 of every animal...onto that arc? with his family?

Iv been around this religion my entire life, baptised when i was...6? and was raised in a christian home, lived around christian families and have been to church almost every sunday.

Iv had pleanty of time to think and figure out why I do not agree with this religion.

I'm talking about the people that say things like "some dudes at my church are jerks, therefore Christianity can't be true", or "I don't understand one aspect of the religion, therefore all of it must be false" etc. It's saying that because you don't like/don't understand one aspect of something that all of it must be bad.It would be akin to sticking your hand into a bag of M&Ms and pulling out one misshapen one, then throwing the whole bag away.

Remains of mammoths and rhinoceroses have been found in different parts of the earth. Some of these were found in Siberian cliffs; others were preserved in Siberian and Alaskan ice. In fact, some were found with food undigested in their stomachs or still unchewed in their teeth, indicating that they died suddenly. (1) I think the strongest evidence is the fact that we find fossils of deep sea life dated around the time of the flood on top of the Andes and Everest mountains, how else can you explain clams getting up there?

I can certainly see why you do not agree with Christianity in its current form, Jesus even said in the bible that it would become corrupted.

Then find the truth. You don't have to believe everything your pastor says. Study and figure out what you believe for yourself, and then look for a group that believes similarly if you want to. You are throwing it all away based on what one teacher says.

Good point, I can admit that I have no idea how the earth and its inhabitants came to be. But how did God get there? Yes, i had to pull that, as much as i hate to, how do we know?

Iv somewhat talked to him about it and hes someone who doesnt care much about what others think unless it agrees with his beliefs.

I dont like the fact that i have to go and make everyone think im something that im not, i dont like hypocrisy, and i hate it even more when im being a hypocrite with no choice.

I will do that when im out on my own next year and i can study freely under my own rules. But due to my views now and what i dont agree with, what iv been taught points to me being a non-believer, and thus, not a christian.
