I have two simple questions. I have been working out for some time, but would like to add two exercises to my routine and don't know what resistance I should start out at. I'm 5'7, 165. I leg press 360 x 12 reps. I do reverse flies at 45 x 10 reps. My military press is 100 x 8 reps.
My question is about squats and upright rows. Based on my leg press, how much should I start my squat reps at? Based on my shoulder strength, how much should I do upright rows at?
I realize that your answers are not going to be 100% correct. I just don't want to waste 30 minutes or more at the gym trying to figure out how much I should lift.

It's not going to take 30 mins ffs. Squats: start with one plate either side. Easy? Make it 2 plates. Harder? Try adding some 10s. And so on.
