Cool JLE'sgoes Ho-hum to Hard!

I was on this forum about 4 yrs ago. I never quite fell off the wagon, but let go a little. I moved, my husband and adopted a baby, (he's 2 and half) now), became a AFAA group fitness instructor, and certified in Turbo Kick (my passion). Last summer I dropped about 20 to my best body so far. Pics in my profile/ body space.

Now, what now....well, I'm amping it up this year. More wts, less junk. Run a 10K by fall.

Goals _ Lose 15-18 lbs of Body fat - that should put me around 150ish and about 16-15% BF DEADLINE - July 20, 2008. (Turbo Kick Camp 2008)

Long term goals, I'm mulling over whether or not to compete. Next spring

What I've got going for me:
God wants me to succeed (what more can I say)
genetics, I put on muscle easy
My husband (finally) supports me
Summer's I can hit it hard, because I'm a school teacher
Accountability, I have to stay fit, to keep my TK classes going

Obstacles:
*until school is out* Time...grading papers - UGH!
Keep my training scheduled and met. Something always comes up
my appetite - I love to eat, and I'm hungry all the time it seems
eating clean - with a husband and toddler in the house, there always JUNK around (I tell myself, cheating on my plans is like cheating on my hubby)
plateaus - I get stuck, (like right now *mumble, grumble*)

I will post nutrition and workout plans soon.

battling the scale

yikes, I just ate one of the cleanest weeks I've ever eaten and no lbs. lost. SO FRustrating! I'm going to try one more week of what I'm doing to see if the scale will dip. Hopefully, this week I can get all my workouts in

Monday -TurboKick 45 min
Tuesday - Back, Chest, and abs - 30 min Cardio -
Wednesday -Bi, Tris, Calves
Thursday- TK 45 min -
Friday - FRY_day, as in fry my gluts and hams - Cardio - treadmill at steep incline and sprint intervals.
Saturday - rest (guess I have to)
Sunday - Whole body Boot camp moves - 1 hr Kickboxing - turbos, recovery, finales.

Goal - get in all my workouts - maintain clean eating - drink H20

made goal!

After eating lower calories and watching the scale stay or flutter upwards, frustration set in. Last monday and tuesday I gave in and just ate to my heart content (almost) but I did not follow my plan,*felt sooooo guilty* got back on again Wed. and here it is Sat. morn and I made this month's goal 4.5 lbs weight loss. Whooo! What I learned is that my body needs about 2000 cals a day and training and the weight will come off steadily, it will jump up 6-8 lbs (once a month) and then fall back off again. If I stay eating clean and training the blubber will shrink, YES!!!

I can see the changes, my abs are tightening up, lines down the obliques, flattening, my arms look better, and I feel awesome. God's plan and purpose will revel itself as I lean on him for courage, determination, self-discipline and motivation. Power of Christ in me!!
