lol. if you bulk with 7,000 calories which is prolly a few thousand over what you actually need reducing it to 6500 calories would only slow your weight gain....it all depends on what you need to maintain....+300 a day to gain -300cals a day to lose from your maintenance calories, the only way a cut would work on 6500 calories is if you maintained body weight at around 6800 calories....which you dont.

The Iron never lies to you. You can walk outside and hear all kinds of talk, get told that you're a god or a total bastard. The Iron will always kick you the real deal. The Iron is the great reference point, the all-knowing perspective giver. Always there like a beacon in the pitch black. I have found the Iron to be my greatest friend. It never freaks out on me, never runs. Friends may come and go. But two hundred pounds is always two hundred pounds. ~Henry Rollins

oh god no i didnt mean it like that. of course you have to work super hard and eat more, but i am a real workout junkie and i would absolutely love to be able to lift more often per week and and be able to recover faster. i would also love to be able to eat more fast food bc even though it is terrible for you health wise, i, like most americans, love the taste and crave it sometimes
anyways i didnt mean to start a steroid discussion bc i obviously dont know enough about that, but was just wondering about a diet like this

Im 6'1 220 and Im on a bulk right now at 5000. I made the mistake of going from 2800 to 5000 overnight. I am happy with the gains so far but I did puit on some unwanted bodyfat and probably would have benefited more from a slow increase. As far as cutting I am going to reduce my cals back down to 2500 instantly and hopefully reap the benefits of a metabolism that is accustomed to 5k! As posted earlier by full out reducing it to 6500 calories would only slow your weight gain....it all depends on what you need to maintain....+300 a day to gain -300cals a day to lose
