    My Shock Therapy/Storm Log

    Some background info first:

26 years old, 6’, 174 lbs looking to bulk to 185-190. No timeline really, I want to do it as clean as possible, so maybe I can get there by Mid-Summer. I was previously taking No Xplode pre-workout and just some creatine monohydrate (GNC brand) post workout previously (along with the basic supps listed below).

In addition to the Shock Therapy/Storm and trying to eat as much as I can, I’ll be taking Fish Oil, Multis (GNC mega men Sport), and Whey (EAS). I’m thinking about adding a weight gainer to take one scoop a day while at work. That’s pretty much it for supplements, just sticking to the basics.

So, onto the log. Day 1 was yesterday (2/22) and I was feeling pretty tired at work all day. Wasn’t enthusiastic about going to the gym, but wanted to get started on this stack. I took the Shock Therapy around 3:45 (I get out of work at 4, drive about 3 mins to the gym, change and start my workout), so about 25 minutes before my work out I took the Shock Therapy. I actually started feeling it kick in just as I was leaving work at 4, so it only took about 15 minutes to take effect. It really gave me an energy boost. I couldn’t seem to change fast enough and went from not wanting to go to the gym to really wanting to hit the weights. It really gave me the energy I needed.

    Worked on Biceps/back today:

    Bent over DB Rows:
    55 x 8
    55 x 8
    60 x 8
    BB Curls:
    70 x 8
    70 x 8
    70 x 8
    ISO Lateral DY Row:
    140 x 8
    140 x 8
    140 x 8
    Preacher Curls:
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    Pull-ups:
    Body Weight x 6
    BW x 6
    BW x 5

Overall, I felt I had a good workout. I was really pumped, and very focused. With the No Xplode, I felt pretty good pumps, but I think the Shock Therapy was better. I seemed to be more focused with the ST and got better pumps than with the No Xplode. As far as taste goes, the wild punch isn’t too bad. It isn’t great tasting, but certainly tolerable, especially for the effects that I felt. For the Storm, I have the grape, which actually tastes really good. Even though its only been 1 day, I’m impressed and hoping I’ll have some good results.

Day 2 was actually Thurs, 2/23 but was too busy to update.
I drank the shock therapy around 3:55 which is about 15 minutes before I started to work out and it seemed to be a perfect time for me. Just as I started to lift, I could really feel the energy. I’m really noticing the effects this is having.

I worked on shoulders/lats and forearms today.

    Reverse Wrist Curls:
    40 x 8
    40 x 6
    40 x 6
    Military Press:
    65 x 8
    75 x 8
    85 x 7
    Upright BB Rows:
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    Front DB Raises:
    22.5 x 8
    22.5 x 8
    22.5 x 8
    DB Hammer:
    30 x 8
    30 x 8
    30 x 8
    Shrugs:
    165 x 8
    165 x 8
    165 x 8

I also play recreational hockey on Thurs. nights so I get a good amount of "cardio" in through hockey. We only had 8 guys, so I got a lot of ice time and really had a good workout there as well.

Day 3 was actually Fri, 2/24.

I worked on chest/triceps today. This seems to be the group I am lacking in as far as gains. I’m hoping this stack will help me out.

    Flat Bench:
    115 x 8
    125 x 8
    135 x 6
    Incline:
    65 x 8
    95 x 8
    100 x 7
    DB Tri Ext:
    55 x 8
    55 x 8
    55 x 8
    Dips
    Bodyweight x 7
    Bodyweight x 7
    Bodyweight x 7
    Flys (Machine):
    75 x 8
    87.5 x 8
    87.5 x 7
    Decline (Smith) Bench:
    90 x 8
    90 x 7
    90 x 6

This was probably one of my better chest day workouts I had in a while. The shock therapy is really helping me with the extra pumps and focus.

Saturday (2/25)/Sunday(2/26) were off days for me. I still took a serving of storm on each off day.

Also picked up some Cytogainer. The stuff tastes great! Serving size is 4 scoops, so I'll probably cut that in half and have 2 scoops after my work out and 2 scoops before bed.

Cool... I am really interested in the stack of these two products. I have never heard ANYBODY say anything bad about them. How much did the both of them cost you?

It was about $70 for the stack. Not too bad imo. I'm definitely liking the shock better than the no xplode.

    Incline Bench:
    75 x 8
    95 x 8

Had a decent workout today, had the usual focus and intensity that I’ve been getting from the ST. I hope this continues through the whole tub, although, I’m sure I’ll build a tolerance to it in a week or 2.

    Tues 2/28

    Leg day!

After reading the exercise forum for several days now, it seems as the general consensus is that the Smith Machine sucks, and its best to use a power rack. I just started with the free weights earlier in Feb. and noticed a big improvement over the machines that I was using. The Smith Machine did help me to get the “feel” for squats and get my form down before I tried them on a power rack. Today I felt comfortable enough to try it on the power rack. It seems like everyone in my gym that does squats uses the Smith so I never even though of using the power rack until I read the exercise forum.

    Squats:
    85 x 8 (warm up)
    115 x 8
    135 x 6
    135 x 6
    Squat Press
    250 x 8
    270 x 8
    270 x 8
    Donkey Calf:
    270 x 8
    270 x 8
    270 x 8
    Kneeing Leg Curl:
    50 x 8
    50 x 7
    50 x 6
    Leg Ext:
    155 x 8
    155 x 8
    155 x 8

Today was a great workout and it must have been the shock therapy. I was completely focused and ready to go throughout the entire workout and didn’t want to leave. I felt like I could do it all over again if I wanted to.

    Weds. 3/1.

    Bicep/Back day
I didn’t get much sleep on Tuesday night (about 5 hours compared to my usual 7-8). I think the Shock Therapy gave me enough of a boost to get through the workout but it definitely works better when I’m not tired and get a good nights sleep.

    Preacher Curls:
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    Bent over DB Rows:
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    Straight BB Curls:
    65 x 8
    65 x 8
    65 x 6
    Dual Pulley Rows:
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    60 x 8
    Pullups:
    Bodyweight x 7
    Bodyweight x 6
    Bodyweight x 4
