The majority of the supplement consumers/buyers are not well informed and lack the knowledge to make the correct buying decisions.

I don't disagree with you on this one, its funny that since ronnie coleman has become spokes person, that they go from having good sales to having most likely the best sales out of any company on the website, thats not to say they are the best selling company for all stores. It's all marketing, if your marketing sucks your product will have ****ty sales, it really doesnt matter if your product is good, if people wont try it/dont know about it.
Being in business is about making money, if we boil it down to the bottom line, making money supereceed any other reason to start a buisness and keep it running.

That's why it's important for us to support companies like Serious Nutrition Solutions. They don't waste money on expensive advertising campaigns, so they can sell their products at lower prices. But since they don't have widespread advertising, WE HAVE TO GET THE WORD OUT PEOPLE!

Unfortunately people on this board equate supplement companies marketing budgets with the quality of their products. Just because a supp company spends a lot on market does not mean that they don't put money into product quality or R & D. Conversly there seems to be this thinking on this board that smaller companies that don't advertise big have better supps than the larger companies.

I didn't mean to imply that smaller companies with non-existant marketing budgets have better supplements, but I like to save a buck whenever possible and if a company is willing to base their growth on word-of-mouth advertising and loyal customers, why not support this system of marketing and get the benefits of both economy and quality?

Agreed. If a company makes great products AND provides a great value, thats a win, win.
