he used to train at a gym i used to attend to called "the club" in naugatuck as i left and i remember seeing that pic in the paper, it was one of his 1st. mostly i think he trains in waterbury near home (golds, or world) one of the big dawg gyms i forget the name.

YEAH BOY!!! POUNDSTONE LAYED HIM OUT!!! I saw this coming! (And thanks to Wesley Inman for helping the strongman scene by coordinating alot of the americans to cheer for USA.......much louder than Poland) Oh, and check it out, WSM 08 ...........the three americans to beat Pudz in the past three years, they will all be there.......it will be anyone's game this year!

Hey No Problem!!! Sorry never saw this thread back in the day, that win at Mohegan was AMAZING!!!!
I know Derek is frustrated that he placed 4th in this years WSM, so back to training hard, and yeah we train at Retro Fitness, it is now called "Waterbury Athletic Club".
Derek owns most of the WSM equipment, so its unreal training with him and his implements.
