Diet plan for first show (what do you think)

Right now im 14 weeks out from the nssn in buffalo and ive been dieting for 1 week. its gonna be my first show so im still a little confused about some things but heres what i got so far. Pretty sure im an ectomorph, im weighing around 225 right now. I have a really fast metabolism. I do 30 mins light intensity cardio every morning and i work out 5-6 days a week. My current supplements are fish oil, glutamine, bcaa's, nitrix, cell mass, no explode, and optimum whey. This is what i eat throughout the day, not always in this order depending on my college schedule.
8 egg whites, 2 whole eggs
    2 slices whole wheat bread
    1 shake - 48 g's protein
    1/2 cup oats
    1.5 lb's chicken
    1/3 cup brown rice
    1 sweet potatoe
    1 shake - 48 g's protein
    2 slices whole wheat bread
    1 shake - 48 g's protein
    3 pieces of tilapia - 42 g's protein
    1/3 cup brown rice
    1 sweet potatoe
    1 cup cottage cheese
    2 slices whole wheat bread
    1 package cut green beans

I split up the chicken into 2 meals and i eat that much whole wheat bread because that is the only way i can seem to keep my carbs up. I eat every 2-3 hours and get at least 8-10 hours sleep every night. That leaves me with:
    2918 Calories
    46 g's fat
    3222 mg sodium
    273 g's carbs
    390 g's protein

how does that look so far? Any advice for what i should do as i get closer to the show will be great too. Ill take pictures and post them as soon as i get a chance.

    Looks good

It looks like you have done well in mapping things out, I could never have eaten that well in college. Do you live at home? I found it hard to eat more than three times a day when I was in college.

I will say your protein is a bit high....here is an extract from Layne's article on contest dieting and nutrition...

    Protein Intake

The "golden standard" protein intake for a bodybuilder is around 1 g/lb of bodyweight. This will need to be increased while dieting. Protein is a thermogenic macronutrient key in sparing muscle tissue when in a caloric deficit (see aforementioned section on protein). I recommend the following protein intakes for different body types:

    Mesomorphs - 1.2g/lb - 1.3g/lb.

    Ectomorphs - 1.4g/lb - 1.6g/lb.

    Endomorphs - 1.4g/lb - 1.5g/lb.*

If you are ecto as you feel you are that would mean 315-360....

You can read the entire article here...

Good luck I look forward to following along especially since you are tall like me and about the same weight....post some pics as well if you are able.
