the red part is the main noun of the idea, and the blue part is the description of the nouns properties or actions that completes the idea and makes it a fully functional logical thought.

the green part is not required to make the idea fully logical. it is just there to further describe the noun to narrow down the description of what noun i am referring to.


the truth is, I could use the word "IS" or the word "ARE", and in order to determine which word I should use, I need to REMOVE the green part and look at the sentence like this

"anyone here is retarded"

"anyone here are retarded"

as you can see, the first sentence is correct. so i picked that one


i do know that out of these two sentences
"following facts is retarded"
"following facts are retarded"

the first one is not correct. however, my above sentence is different and has different rules. i needed to use the word "IS" to make my sentence correct

Also if you look on the sites/forums that r organizing the raid, they only have a couple hundred visits, with maybe 1 in 10 people actually participating, the rest are looky loo's.

Scientology is not like other religions because it's not based on "faith." It purports to be the "study of truth" while the definition of faith is belief without actual evidence of the truth. I don't know whether this has been mentioned before but I just find the whole debacle rather self-important and obnoxious. I'm all for the dismantling of threatening entities, but it's delusional to make this campaign into something more than it is; the sense that this is a cosmic battle of good and evil, knowledge and ignorance, light and dark- that's all rather comical. I don't have any real problem with their ambition (the dissolution of a destructive and malignant organization), but being from Israel and living in an age of intercontinental invasions and famine, I find myself rolling my eyes at how pompous the 'movement' is.
