No he's right. The security firm hired by CoS even said the attack is only about 1/100 as large as the largest ones they have dealt with. Also if you look on the sites/forums that r organizing the raid, they only have a couple hundred visits, with maybe 1 in 10 people actually participating, the rest are looky loo's.
Still, G'luck.The best threads of 2004: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=377096&highlight=2004

Please don't turn this into a R&P ****fest that gets the thrad closed.
Scientology is not like other religions because it's not based on "faith." It purports to be the "study of truth" while the definition of faith is belief without actual evidence of the truth. Scientology seems to think it can prove the truth with things like E-meters and Thetan levels...which is absolute horse****.

I don't know whether this has been mentioned before but I just find the whole debacle rather self-important and obnoxious. I'm all for the dismantling of threatening entities, but it's delusional to make this campaign into something more than it is; the sense that this is a cosmic battle of good and evil, knowledge and ignorance, light and dark- that's all rather comical. I don't have any real problem with their ambition (the dissolution of a destructive and malignant organization), but being from Israel and living in an age of intercontinental invasions and famine, I find myself rolling my eyes at how pompous the 'movement' is.

I'm not belittling their methods or the scope of their action. I agree that a group of wide spread people communicating and cooperating to distribute and utilize information is massively powerful and can do incredible things. That's not my point. I just find it a little self-important that they consider their ambition (the disintegration of contemporary Scientology as it stands) to be worthy of such grave and foreboding language. If they were trying to bring down the government or Blackwater or something- sure, kick up the doomsaying and relevance of your mission. Humiliating and disabling Scientology... yeah. That reminds me of something a group of high schoolers would do.
