hey i came across this today cuz MSN is my homepage (don't ask y it just came that way). it says u should work out 3 times a week, but work out ur entire body each time?? it said they saw some 'amazing' results with this; 4 times more than working each body part only 1 time a week. idk what to believe lol. what do u guys think?? it was from MSN Health and Fitness.
It's absolutely true, but don't think in terms of isolating every muscle every workout. Choose big compound lifts that load most of your system. For example, doing squats, bench presses, and rows on the same day will work pretty much every muscle you have. Deadlifts, military presses, and pull-ups is another such combo, as is front squats, power clean, and incline press. This way you're using different lifts each workout, but you're still pretty much hitting your entire body 3 times per week.
