it depends on what else you are doing during the week, and how close to your 1RM you are trained. but in general, people do it once a week

The best way to do it, is to copy THE blackest of them all
Depends on how you train them. Straight sets with heavy weight will leave you hurting. I do them 5x5 style, using pyramid to a top set. I think I could probably do them two or three times a week like this, I never feel really burnt out the next day. But then again I squat three times a week really heavy, maybe I am just used to handling high stress.
