    protein shake first thing in the morning?

    i workout about an hour and a half after i wake up in the morning

    would it be alright to have a protein shake as my first meal?

    according to the sticky i should either have a pretty big meal before my workout or a protein shake

    i dont think i could down a full sized meal right when i wake up
