    Want to see some 5x5 before/after pics?

    So would I..

    I've been looking around the forum for some before and after pics of people that have gone on the 5x5 program(s) just to see what sort of gains they've made.

    I'm almost at the end of week 2, and would love to see what I can look forward to. To date, all of I've heard of is the greatness in words.

    I understand there are many factors involved with 'gains' in general, but seeing how someone has turned (body shape, muscles developed) would be great.

    Please feel free to post links (or attach) before/after pics in this thread.

    I wasnt on the 5x5 yet

    I then quit working out for about 2months and didnt start again till november. 5x5 was the first program I started sence time off. Im trying to bulk now and im making steady improvements. Definitly my favorite program so far. This is me last week at about 160

    I was reading your journal and i think your conversions are a little wrong on your exercises.

    It says your benching 34.16lbs when converting kg's to pounds multiply the kg by 2.2

    at 5' 8'', you dont look your wieght at all. then again some people have more bone density and what not so who knows? but you dont really look any different in the two pics. are you sure you just didnt gain some fat cuz you also look smoother.

    my lifts have gone up a little. Also my legs are ALOT stronger, because I purchased a squat rack when I started working out again. before I was just holding a 45lb plate in each hand and squating.

    Im having a hard time with the whole calorie thing in bulking. I just go and eat whenever im hungry. I dont balence out the C/P/F. I count how many calories im eating a day about once a month, and its usually around 3000. My metabalism rate is 1800 calories, so 3000 would make sence. Im just to lazy to count the calories and the fats,protien, and carbs. So I probably am packing on some fat. What weight does it look like im at out of curiosity?

    Sadly the conversions are correct. 2.204 in fact
    For the 1st week, my first set for bench was 15.5kg(34.16lbs), 35% of my target for that week;
    34.162 (15.5kgs)

    As I say in my journal I'm 2 weeks into my 5x5, but 8 weeks now into my weight training.
    My bench 5RM is now over 100lbs which is an achievement for me
    Note: I'm doing the beginner's beginner 5x5, which is different to the one seen around here a lot (the intermediate one)

    puppetzz, comparing your two photos (now that I'm awake, and wasn't in autopilot to get down into the homegym) I see that your pecs have definitely grown.

    Now I only wish I get deltoids like you. That's one of my goals

    As you might see from the photos below, I haven't got much to write home about. (Excuse my poses. Still learning)
    Both of these are befores.. I'll keep in mind to post an after later on down the track

    I went through like all 50 of my july august pics, and the legs one i found were either dark or blurry. My legs have always had some definition though. My squat is rising easily right now. Sunday ill be doing 180x5. I started at 135x5 in november.

    Yes I would like to see some 5 x 5 before and after photos, and some results from a 25+ person useing the program and the progress from day 1 to 180, in the weights that he went up in.

    I can give you sme good photos of a HIT man's progress and progress in the weights that he went up in, if you would like them.
