    My new chest workout, is it ok?

    Hi , i used to do 9 excercises for chest at 3 sets each,

    i have now changed it to the following and in the same order,

    Flat Bench , one warm up set, light, 3* heavy (7-8 reps)

    Peck Deck , 3 sets ( 10 reps)

    Incline Dumbell Press ( heavey * 3 sets, 8-10 rps

    Dumbell Flyes, 3 sets

    Pullovers 3 sets

    Cable Cross 2 sets.

    Definite overkill on the isolation crap. You're doing pec deck, flyes, AND cable crossovers? I would dump all of those exercises as well as the pullovers. Add in some dips. Use those three exercises and maybe up the number of sets to keep volume where you want it.

    sorry i forgot to mention i do three sets of dips

    shall i take one isolation excercise out and replace it with incline Bench press....

    too many sets. nothing wrong with isolation its just too much.

    I wouldn't replace it with incline bench if you're already doing incline dumbell presses. There's really no reason to repeat exercises ad naseum. I would take out all of the isolation movements. Less is more here. If you're absolutely intent on doing some isolation work pick the pec deck OR flyes OR cable curls.
