I've been lifting weights as a form of recreation since 1998 but haven't gotten very serious about improving my physique until January of 2005. Yes, it was one of my "New Year's Resolution" last year. It's definitely one of the resolutions that I've followed through very well - and I intend to keep doing it.
My journey hasn't been an easy one since I didn't know anything about having a good diet plan. It took me a lot of research here on bb.com to come up with a decent meall plan. I also hired a good trainer who showed me how to hit the weights hard, really hard that lactic acid's painful after each workout set.
I would like you folks, especially recognized experts, to see what I need to improve so that I can set my goals for 2006. I do believe I have lagging bodyparts, so feel free to give me constructive feedback and please tell me how to improve those.

Some more pics...
Also, I have different trainers give different results on my bodyfat %, ranging from 10-20%! It's quite confusing to know if I'm gaing mass and/or losing fat for a particular "experiment" that I tweaked on my diet/training.
I'd like to know what's your guestimate on my bf thru the pics.
Thanks!

Serious training started only July 2005
WillB485 - Yup, I'll work on those two as well. My plan is to cut some more until I see my six pacs. I'll then start my clean bulk cycle after that.
mrswiss - If you've read my first entry, I became serious about transforming my body only Jan of last year. It wasn't until July of last year that I got to fully understand the concepts and applied it to my training and diet. So, yes, you're right, I wasn't training intensely for the whole two year period.
Thanks guys, for all the inputs. Please keep it coming if you have more!Last edited by day1377; 01-19-2006 at 09:16 PM.

good job. your bodyfat looks to be in the 10-12% range.
to be honest, you need to work on every part of your body, particularly most of the upper body (all 3 heads of the shoulders, chest, bis, tris, traps). although your back seems to be doing well. great job with the increased width of your lats.
your best body parts are your lats and your quads, in my opinion. hammies need work. not sure about the calves.
after you finish cutting, just pack on that mass everywhere! by the way, what routine had your trainer had you on? i hope it involves heavy compound lifts.Last edited by quest-x; 01-19-2006 at 10:02 PM.
