    Close-grip bench press replacement

What is a good replacement for the close-gripped bench. I have been doing them for a while now and am looking into something different to switch things up a bit. Also, what would only doing DB bench and not barbell bench do to my chest/weight if I went back to a regular bench after a few weeks? Thanks.

If you are doing cgbp for tri's then try doing dips.

on a pressdown machine use a bar and use a narrow grip, then lean over the bar and press. its basically a cgbp but on a machine.

Three of my favorite triceps exercises that could replace closed grip are tate presses, weighted bench dips and kickbacks. Also, use the lat pulldown bar as mentioned previously ^^ with a close, underhanded grip. This will hit your tris in a totally different way to shock things up a bit.
