Hip Hop Abs...
haha...I have no idea what this is, but it was on an infomercial when I was leaving the gym the other day...Given it was on an infomercial, it's probably really cheesy and not that great...but if you're looking for cardio that targets the abs, it supposedly does.
Also, what about a kickboxing class? I had a friend who took it and she tightened up really fast.

LOL, I have Hip Hop Abs. Not because I figure it's going to give me a washboard stomach, haha, just because I needed some new cardio. Haven't touched it yet as I just bought it, but I briefly watched part of one. It seems like if you do it right, there just might be some ab focus. I just like dance type cardio. I would say if you do it properly then there is a possibility to get a decent cardio session.

kickboxing
kickboxing kickboxing, kickboxing and OH, did I mention kickboxing - cardio...abs and core
I teach Turbo Kick, 3x week and rarely work my abs hardcore..
Along the Hip Hop Abs thought.... If you want a DVD -try Turbo Jam from beachbody.com. You get to punch, kick and JAM! This is kickboxing, sports drills, hip hop, caporia (sp). Try it, if you hate it send it back.

rowing may really utilize your abs if you keep your core engaged while you use your arms

For abs cardio, you could try something like rowing! Although it works the shoulders and glutes quite a bit, too. There was a rowing machine at my old gym, and I was all over it, lol.

I always find that when I do ellipticals/arc trainers with upper body (arm) movement that if i engage my core, and exagerrate twisting to the sides a little bit, I really feel it in my obliques. I can only engage my core for a min or two before I realize I'm not engaged anymore, so I usually do intervals of this.

Along the lines of kickboxing... TaeBo Rock N Abs! Not as intense cardio as many of the other TB videos but still good cardio!

I would have to agree that kick boxing is the best way to go. Not only does it tone your body but you feel great afterwards ( and a little sore the next day)

Running always worked my lower abs and especially obliques pretty well.

Yeah, it totally gets rid of stress, gets you that "I can take on anything" rush. I love it because its so intense and you have to concentrate on your form and technique, and the next thing you know an hour is gone and your dripping sweat! Bring it! WhOOOOO!

Is this like a video or something? and Kickboxing sounds awesome, I'm gonna try it for sure, there's this place not too far from my house so I'm gonna try it out, kinda sucks that it cost $90 and $10 each class..but....I think they supply me with gloves and stuff, but I want my own gloves, any boxing gloves will do for kickboxing right? Or are there like special kickboxing gloves....

Yes, Hip Hop abs is a set of videos. They are by beachbody, which also does the Yoga Booty Ballet, Turbo Jam, P90X and many other series of fitness videos. You can of course order them online/by phone through the infomercials they do on tv, but I found Hip Hop abs at Wal-Mart, so try there or any other store of that type because you just never know.
Kickboxing is good too!

I really like P90X, especially KenpoX. Parts of the program are pretty killer, though.
