Lipo 6 Reviews Please!
I am currently taking BSN's Atrophex and need to cycle off it in a couple weeks. Looking to use a different fat burner, Ive read on bb.com that Nutrex's Lipo 6 is one of the top selling fat burners. What do you all think? Is it worth it? Should I try something else? And if anyone has tried both Nutrex's Lipo 6 and Lipo 6X is there a difference and which is better? Thanks!

I've taken the 6x before, I liked it, gave me plenty of energy, I got really warm with it & sweated more than usual. As far as fat reduction goes it seemed effective, but I couldn't really say for sure as my diet wasn't really in check at the time. I have a load left which I think I'll use up in a few months when I've dropped some more BF with diet alone.

I used Lipo6 during contest prep. I liked it a lot -- it gave me a burst of energy without giving me the jitters. I started with one a day, moved up to two after a week or two and then up to three after another couple of weeks. I spaced them a few hours apart. I never even tried to take two at once as I'm very sensitive to fat burners.
I'm pretty sure my nutrition had more to do with the fat going away, but it was nice to have the extra energy boost when cutting for a contest.
I suppose you know this, but don't take fat burners all the time -- cycle them. It will help keep your adrenals healthy. By cycle, I don't mean wait two weeks and start up anew throughout the year.
There's an article on this site that recommends this schedule:

Depending on your tolerance, I recommend adopting 3 weeks on, 1 week off, or 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off cycles.

but still -- that should only be during a cutting cycle IMO and not something to be done year around.

I just bought Lipo 6X and have been on it for a week now. I do like it a lot so far :-) It is stronger then Lipo 6, I could take 6 caps a day and the new 6X 4 caps would be the max for me. It does have a great appetite suppressant too and I need to remind myself to eat!!

If you don't mind me asking, were/are any of you on birth control (pill or patch) while taking Nutrex's Lipo 6 and Lipo 6X? If so, did either product affect the effectiveness of the fat burner?
Thanks!

I bought the Lipo6 and was on a low-hormonal birth control pill at the same time. A waste of my money, honestly. I think all it gave me was gas, lol. I had taken another fat burner about a month before and it was not a "name brand" and had much better results.

i bought nutrex lip 6
today is the first day ive started to consume it
I took 1 pill in the morning, soon after I felt really hot and sweated a little. Okay so I went to the gym (no food yet) for a circuit training session and boy I lifted all the heaviest weights there (I've never been able to do this before), and I did sweat loads.
Came home, had some food and popped another pill in the afternoon.
Throughout the day, I felt really 'full' and nauseous (sp?) but this could be perhaps because it is my first day and my body still needs time to get used to it.
I'm very pleased that my energy levels increased tremendously. So let's see how I progress this week.

It can cause a little nausea at first. You might want to try one a day for a week and then move on to two.

Today is my second day and I did not have any side effects whatsoever. I've noticed though that I'm not eating as much as usual. I feel 'full' really quickly.

I have taken a cycle of Lipo before, it really helped with training and the weights kept going up. The only reason I stopped was that where I come from the police can stop you for random breath test for alcohol and / or a random drug test. I had taken Lipo the previous day and it showed a positive result for ephedrine. Try talking your way out of that one. Having said that I think it's a good training aid but I'm sticking with caffeine tablets & sheer hard work.

Do you mind me asking what it was? I'm on a low dose birth control pill right now as well. I just started lipo-6 though and can't really tell if it's working yet.

I did take 6 per day on lipo 6, 2 in the am, 2 mid-day, 2 early evening. This is because my workouts are at the end of my day 8:30 or 9 pm. I noticed that I feel the effects of the 6X much longer and I would NOT take 6 a day!! I usually take my last 2 by 4pm

Lipo6 didn't really do much for me. I have better results with Redline and Lipotrophin A.M & P.M.
