I've doing an xfactor AX stack now. I hadn't experienced none of the above side effects but lethargy in the first part of the day is pretty bad. Especially after the first 3 weeks of use.

Hm.... I've actually heard of gum bleeding and gum inflammation decreasing on X Factor. This science is a bit over my head but if I remember correctly it's the IL-6 cytokine which leads to systematic inflammation and tends to be inhibited by the use of AA and exercise. I believe Leonidas actually experienced this during his cycle. I'll try to dig up the thread....

I guess it may come down to what is causing the inflammation in the first place....

    EDIT:

    Leonidas
So I have seen the Baylor study about X-factor reducing one of the primary markers for inflammation in the body Il-6. I was skepitcal because it just did not makes sense that a product could induce muscular inflammation but reduce systemic inflammation in the body, but x-factor seemed safe and effective so I just dismissed my skepticism.

I think Molecular Nutrition may have really stumbled on to something that may have very broad implications in not only undertanding health and nutrition, as well a creating a heck of a good anabolic compund, but I think that X-factor may really have broad implications for the way inflammation is understood and this could revolutinize facets of the health care industry.

For years, despite the fact that I brush my teeth and floss rather regularly, my gums would always bleed whether with flossing or just brushing. Now inflamed/bleeding gums are a pretty good indication of systemic inflammation in the body, and systemic inflammation is begining to be understood as contributing to a number of health problems/disease. I just noticed this the past couple of days and did not make the conncetion until now, but my gums no longer bleed with brushing or flossing. This may seem very insignificant facially, but put in context of the supplement that I am using this is absolutely momentous. I really think MN may be on the verge of something huge with this, not only for bodybuilding purposes, but for general health and well being. I would love for Aeter, phosphate bond, (Bustered is useless) to repond to this.
    Bill's Response
IL-6 is a key pro-inflammatory cytokine. Among other things, it plays a role in fever and the "acute phase" inflammatory response to injury or trauma. It is also the key stimulus for the hepatic production of C-reactive protein. IL-6 and C-reactive protein elevations are linked to a number of undesirebale health conditions including cardivascular disease, diabetes, and certain forms of cancer. They are also linked to systemic inflammation (aka Metabolic Syndrome).

The reduction in IL-6 was probably the most important finding of the Baylor study, IMO. We believe this is tied to AA (combined with exercise) improving the physiological response to training in skeletal muscle tissue, which in turn improves insulin sensitivity and control. There has long been a tight association noted between hyperinsulinemia (caused by insulin resistance) and systemic inflammation.

AA is still an "as needed" pro-inflammatory, so while it seems to reduce inflammatory marker levels in subjects taking it with training, it can still be used locally by the body "as needed" if you have certain inflammatory conditions. I suspect there is some middle ground where some people may notice reduced signs of minor inflammation.

i never experienced gum bleeding, but once i ended up taking 3 gels at one time and about an hour and a half later i had a nose bleed. only time i've ever had one too. because it messes witht the inflamation system, i believe it thins out the blood which makes it easier to pass through certain areas of the body such as the nose or gums. just my thought, no real proof behind it.

Acne, joint pain, muscle soreness... but after you get off of it and hop on some Animal Flex and/or Cissus the pain and soreness will go away. Acne will go away after you are done once it leaves your system. Increase the amount of water you take in and it will help with all of it. X Factor was worth it all for me!

this seems to make sense. bc at the slightest touch of my gums they start bleeding. this could be do to the thinning of the blood u described. interesting.

Yes, you're the third guy I've seen post re:xfactor-bleeding gums.
If you provide one link to support that claim I will leave it alone. As of now, this is my only response. I will wait for you to provide said claims in the form of links, which should be no problem since you are just trying to help, and in no way have an anti-Molecular Nutrition agenda. Thanks in advance.

As I responded to him, I will respond to his claims after he provides some sort of verification. I am in no way claiming that your problem is not legit, but this poster has a history of attacking X-Factor and MN at every possible chance. At the very least, I would strongly encourage you to check his post history.

No, I'm sorry. Unfortunately I read so many forums I couldn't even say if either of them were here.

Upon doing a search I see that one guy actually claimed x-factor cured his bleeding gums. Quite the miracle pill, that x-factor.

From what I've read on these forums X-Factor looks like a more dangerous supplement to take than PH's!! The research and chemical make-up of it won't, but the side effects sure seem to.
Go ahead and wake up, it's a brand new day

Ive been on x-factor for 9 days now and havent really seen any sides at all. My joints are kinda sore but it is no worse then before i started taking it. Too soon to see any positive gains.

Joint soreness can be solved by taking any joint supp...but what about the headaches? Can I take a painkiller or do I have to suffer? There must be a solution for this...and the bleeding, it scares me quite much

You are hiliarious. If someone mentions a negative side effect from X-Factor, you will jump on it, and in this case make up other cases of it happening (I really didn't think you had links to back that up). But, if someone mentions a positive benefit of X-Factor, then you respond with sarcasm and act like you can't believe it.

I would ask again what your agenda is, and what you have against MN and X-Factor, but we all know you won't answer that truthfully, either. You are welcome to your opinion, but I would appreciate if you would refrain from spreading outright lies (i.e. "Yes, you're the third guy I've seen post re:xfactor-bleeding gums.) about our product.

A supplement company's dream: a placebo with actual side effects! No wonder the other companies are licensing it; best thing since yohimbine.

Many people have had great results with stopping headaches by drinking lots of water, and supplementing with magnesium and CoQ10.

Do not take a pain killer unless you absolutely have to.

I have only heard of one case of gum bleeding and it was this thread. I have even provided a link saying the total opposite.

What research and chemical make-up.... Arachidonic Acid? is that what we're talking about? Or the chemical make up of a designer steroid.

More serious side effects than a PH? Many people regard PHs as being more harsh than steroids, so are you telling me that Arachidonic Acid carries more side effects, health related problems, and overall poor quality than steroid use?

Do mind providing links?. MN provides a sleuth of information, clinical studies, etc. right on this board for everyone to see.

No, the success of your company's product is hilarious. Your own sponsored study showed zero lean mass nor fat loss benefit, even after rigging the study.

Yet we are supposed to accept that this product is:

    best non-hormanal bulking agent available!
    great for cutting!
    ultimate pre workout pump!
    cures gum disease!
somehow increases muscle gains by increasing inflammation, and at the same time is anti-inflammatory!

Not to mention, if any of this were true, you could get the same AA by mixing a few eggs into your shake - with the added benefit that cholesterol provides in active weight training individuals.

But wait, don't do that, cholesterol is bad for you! But AA is only bad for sedentary people!

Your product and your claims are a joke and I'll continue to point out that fact at every opportunity.
