Im not postitive on this one, but some experts argue that they can be lenghtened, and some argue that they can;'t.

You can't actually lengthen your biceps as its determined by tendon length (you can't grow your tendons to any great degree) which comes from genetics, BUT you can fill in the biceps as low as possible to help create the visual impression of it being longer. Don't forget your forearms will help to do this too.

i find 2 things hit that area - preacher curls and a good back workout. im not sure what part of the back workout, maybe the chins probably the rows but that's why doing bis and back together is a good thing.

precisely, do hammercurls as they train both biceps & forearms.

Everyone has a gap between their biceps and elbows. it's genetic also, some peopel are born for high peaked biceps so they have short biceps.

And some peopel are born for long full muscle bellies.

I don't think you can really do anything about "lengthening" your biceps.

Superset genetics with luck, that's what I'd recommend for full arm developement.

    no kidding

you can't change the shape of a muscle. period.

working the brachialis may help if you're really neglecting it, but otherwise you're screwed. reverse curls and hammers to work the brachialis.

Hey man,I have a small gap there too.
    Try working your forarms.
I don't think you can accually get clear of the gap, just give the impression that its gone(by workin the forarms)

Does a short bicep automatically mean a high peak? Cause I have high biceps and a really good peak. Also, since their is not one clear answer on whather the bicep can be lengthend or not, I will look into it.

I have long full biceps and my peaks are far above average. And Mark I have seen plenty of people with high biceps that hardly have any peak.

Oh ok. I know you hate him but, Ronnie has short biceps compared to most people and he ahs the highest peaks. Where Kevin Leverone (I know your gonna hate me now) has full biceps, but not alot of peak.

im pretty sure the gap youre referring to is the tendon connecting elbow to bicep, being a tendon it cannot be increased but working the forearms and bis will give a diminished appearance
