lots of boiled starchy foods, very little meat. basically, a lot of soups with veggies.
This was the info I got from a guy I had to interview as part of my report back when I was a youngin..hehe.

They made eggless, milkless, butterless cake, which was just basically brown sugar and flour and ground up fruit boiled together and formed. Like fruitcake I guess.

If you want some cheap bodybuilding food, go hunting. And don't be worried about eating weird things.
Dee, possums, rabbits, squirrels, mice, worms, ants, grasshoppers, shrews, local birds, and all that should be fair game. Eat their guts (ignore the stomach and intestines) too for necessary nutrients.
I'm completely serious. There is nothing wrong with eating smaller game. Meat is meat! Just don't eat other people's pets. And spare the dogs/cats please.
Look up deadfalls and snares. Make your own bow and some arrows so you can hunt off gun season.≡nlightenment €rew
