Please critique my new back/tri, chest/bi, leg/shoulders routine!

Okay, for years I have done back with bi, chest with tri, etc. I made good gains but I am also realy good at skipping workouts. So now I'm gonna hit the new year with a totally different style of split and see if I can keep my intensity and dedication up.

    Back/Tri Day
    Deadlift x3
    DB row x4
    Dips x3
Cable pulldowns x4 (I do pullups outside of my split, on cardio days)
    Tricep Extensions x3

    Chest/Bi Day
    ATrainer Flys x3
    Incline DB press x3
    cable/bb curl x3
    decline bench x3
    preacher curl x3

    Leg/Shoulder Day
    Squat x3
    Military press x3
    SLDL x3
    Rear lat raise x2
    Smith calf raise x3
    lat raise x2
    Smith calf raise x2

What do you guys think? Please critique. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks. My own concern is that I am not hitting the quads enough. However I am focusing more on upper body size and strength. I am just squatting to balance it out, not to achieve mega-quads.

I might replace decline bench with flat bench, but you might have specific goals there, I don't know. Also, you may want to add a set or two to your major muscle groups. Perhaps you would be better off with 4-5 sets for Squats and Deadlifts.

Do you have a day off between these lifting days?

Overall, I think it is a very good routine. Good luck!

Thanks for your advice it's greatly appreciated. I also thought about adding 1 more set to deadlift and squat, but I'll start with 3 first because I'm just getting back into the groove after months of vacation.

My week will go something like this:

    Mon - Back/tri
    Wed - Leg/shoulder
    Fri - Chest/Bi

I think back/tri and chest/bi should be separated as much as possible because I'm overlapping muscle groups. I just came back from back/tri, and I am totally burnt out. I also pulled my lower back on my last set of deads, so I hope that heals quick. I don't think I can squat on Wed if my back still aches, and it probably will . So I might actually go straight to Chest/bi on Wed, depending on how I feel. My old split was M- back/bi, W- chest/tri/shoulder, F- legs.

I also found myself overlapping exercises today as well. 2 sets into my db rows, I started doing my dips. Everything else started overlapping after that. It really mixes up the pace, and I enjoyed it a lot more than doing my same boring routine last year.
