Well I was just wondering how much(assuming you do) casein you guys take in before hittin the bed.
Lately, I've been mixing in a scoop of casein with 2 glasses of skim milk before bed. This roughly comes to about ~40g of protein
Also, I eat some cottage cheese with this shake so that adds to a total of ~50g of protein before bed.
How about you guys?
-Side note: I've noticed a great reduction in muscle soreness after taking in this much protein before bed, but the amount of sleep(9+ hours) may also be another factor aiding in my recovery.

I just pound a muscle milk shake. I can't really stand the taste of cottage cheese. I think there is about 32g of protien in a MM shake. I'm with Spuddy though, you could probably take closer to 60 or 70 grams. Your metabolism slows down at night, and casein digests slower so...
