Hi there all,
A couple of beers now and again, will not hurt you, however them calories in the beers are empty calories and will turn into fat, all depends how many you drink, average 200 calories in a pint of beer, times that by 8 twice per week, is 3200. As long as it’s not overdone a few beers are ok.

thats two out of every 7 days......hhhmmm lets do the math here......
that works out to be about 28-29% of all days of the year......thats almost one day out of every 3 you will be drinking......
thats about 104 days a year you will drink......all that beer turns into fat VERY EASILY !!!!
so back to your origional question......."Will Drinking Beer Effect much ? "

It really depends on how much you drink. 2 beers may put you out of wack for 2 hours; 10 is enogh to influence hormones and hurt you the next day. It also depends on how close you are to your peak. If you are more highly trained the detriment will be more substantial. And drinnking is more than the calories in the drink-there is laziness that accompanies it.
