How long can Penn stay motivated at 155?

Penn doesnt like to fight meaningless fights so my guess is he jumps up to 10 again but im not sure he is built for that class longterm and it would just encourage him to get fat again. Karo-Penn would be cool.

I think he will stay at 155 for a bit until the whole Serra/GSP fight works itself out. If GSP wins and is the official WW champ...I could see BJ Penn coming up to fight him.
Honestly I don't see the UFC getting Gomi and Huerta is no match

He would crush Gomi again, and Huerta would get dominated.



If he beats Sherk he might as well move up to 170, and he can come back down to 155 for big title fights periodically.

even if they get gomi, i dont think gomi is willing to cut to 155

bj after sherk should def go to 170 to fight imo the strongest division in the ufc

There are plenty of other guys at 155, though most of them aren't in the UFC. Mach Sakurai, Joachim Hansen, Tatsuya Kawajiri, Mitsuhiro Ishida, Gilbert Melendez, etc. I think Hansen would probably give him a tough fight; that guy is a beast; so would Sakurai. I think Sakurai would beat Gomi most of the time, he kinda got screwed over by the ropes in their Bushido fight.

Gomi's grappling is far too weak for BJ.
