Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL
Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL is a revolutionary discovery that involves the esterification of creatine resulting in the world's first creatine ester. Creatine ethyl ester hydrochloride is an extremely water soluble form of creatine resulting in enhanced absorption, bioavailability, and stability.
The degradation of creatine usually begins in the acidic ph of the stomach resulting in the formation of creatinine. Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL inhibits this initial breakdown in the stomach, which contributes to increased creatine blood levels and muscle concentrations. Astonishingly enough Creatine Ethyl Ester HCL achieves all of these benefits with a lower than normal dose. 1 The more water-soluble the creatine the greater the absorption and bioavailability. The greater the absorption the lower the required dose and enhanced function.
Creatine (N-Methyl-N-guanylglycine) itself is a nitrogenous organic acid that is found in muscle and nerve tissue. The body forms creatine from the amino acids arginine, glycine and methionine. Creatine is stored as creatine phosphate (phosphocreatine) in the muscle cells. Phosphocreatine donates its phosphate to adenosine diphosphate (ADP) to make adenosine triphosphate (ATP) and thus increases the rate of ATP regeneration, which promotes enhanced strength and endurance. Creatine is also thought to promote muscle mass via an increased intracellular concentration of water, which is thought to activate protein synthesis and thus contribute to increased strength, endurance, recovery, and fat free mass. 2,3
3-Guanidinopropionic acid
Guanidinopropionic acid (N-(aminoiminomethyl)-beta-alanine) is an aminoguanidine analog that enhances insulin sensitivity and may decrease body fat stores. 5 Guanidinopropionic acid causes the body to produce less insulin due to enhanced insulin function. This may cause a decrease in body fat since less insulin is being produced. Guanidinopropionic acid enhances insulin function and therefore may also be combined with other insulin mimicking agents in order to enhance their function as well.
K-R-Alpha Lipoic Acid
K-R-Alpha Lipoic Acid is the naturally occurring active form of Alpha Lipoic Acid protected by a potassium bond resulting in greater physiological actions. 6 Synthetic Alpha Lipoic Acid consists of a racemic mixture of R+ and primarily of S- form alpha lipoic acid, which is thought to limit overall effectiveness since the S- form is poorly metabolized. Pure R- alpha lipoic acid is a powerful antioxidant that mimics the actions of insulin and promotes insulin sensitivity however R- alpha lipoic acid is very unstable and can actually convert to toxic polymers, the addition of the potassium bond prevents this and keeps the R- alpha lipoic acid stable and bioavailable.
Taurine
Taurine acts as a cell volumizer, insulin sensitizer, and nitric oxide potentiator. 7,8 Taurine appears to have the ability to increase insulin sensitivity and thus exerts a synergistic effect with Guanidinopropionic acid and R-Alpha Lipoic Acid in order to enhance creatine transport into the muscle cell. All of the previous mentioned nutraceuticals are designed to harness the ergogenic and anabolic benefits of creatine and the powerful hormone insulin. Taurine also possess the ability to release nitric oxide, which causes increased blood flow to the muscle cells resulting in greater amino acid and glucose uptake, enhanced muscle recovery, increased protein synthesis, and immense pumps.
L-Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate (A-AKG)
L-Arginine is a naturally occurring basic amino acid found in most dietary proteins. It is involved in several biochemical reactions in the body. One of the most well researched reactions is the formation of nitric oxide. L-Arginine is a direct precursor to nitric oxide production, which also results in the formation of the amino acid L-Citrulline. 9 Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate is L-Arginine molecularly bound to the Kreb's cycle intermediate Alpha-Ketoglutaric acid. Oral ingestion of Arginine Alpha-Ketoglutarate results in enhanced delivery of L-Arginine and thus a superior nitric oxide release. L-Arginine and Alpha-Ketoglutaric acid also reduce the negative by-products of exercise such as ammonia and lactic acid. 10
Jiaogulan (Gynostemma pentaphyllum)
Jiaogulan (Gynostemma pentaphyllum) is a plant that grows wild in Asia. Jiaogulan is sometimes called "Southern Ginseng", since it grows in south central China and because of its similarity to ginseng in chemical composition and function. Gynostemma pentaphyllum contains various saponins such as gypenoside alkaloids, which have been shown to induce nitric oxide release. 11 These saponin alkaloids also possess strong antioxidant properties that have been shown to increase cardiac output, increases oxygen utilization, and improve recovery from exercise. 12,13
N-Acetyl-L-Glutamine
L-Glutamine is the most abundant free form amino acid in the blood and in muscle tissue. The supplementation of L-Glutamine can cause an anti-catabolic effect and contribute to cellular volumization. Intense training causes muscle cell glutamine levels to decrease thus allowing for muscle or protein breakdown. The ingestion L-Glutamine causes an anti-catabolic effect by keeping these levels elevated thus preserving muscle mass and improving nitrogen balance. L-Glutamine also contributes to cellular volumization, which may activate protein synthesis. N-Acetyl-L-Glutamine is more stable and readily absorbed form of L-Glutamine that increases plasma levels greater than free form L-Glutamine. 14
Glucuronolactone
Glucuronolactone (D-Glucurono-g-lactone) is a metabolite formed from glucose. Glucuronic acid is the immediate precursor and occurs in plants and is also a constituent of fibrous and connective tissues in animals. The available data from humans indicate that when glucuronolactone is administered orally it is rapidly absorbed, metabolized and excreted. Glucuronolactone is thought to positively affect cognitive performance and endurance. 15
Conclusion
XPLODE RELOAD provides over 12 grams per serving of the latest performance enhancing compounds resulting in extreme nutraceutical supercompensation leading to rapid recovery and seemingly everlasting pumps. No product on the market can compare to the powerful muscle loading effects of XPLODE RELOAD.

Training evaluation : 8.5/10
Training Summary : First of all, the taste of this product is really HORRIBLE. I think it is worse than Bulk CEE. That's a lot specially with the after taste. The mixiability is pretty good. I try 1.5 scoops before the gym today with a shake of Cytosport whey+ Oatmeal. I was dizzy during the training, I don't know if it's the 400 mg of caffeine or the ALA but I had a weird feeling. The pumps were really solid specially at the end on the leg extension.
Finally,
On off days, I will take only Bulk CEE as Italion said in the thread of 40.Last edited by Bloute; 02-09-2006 at 09:14 PM.

Question for thermolife reps :
Do you prefer I update my log on thermolife board and AM every day or at the end ?
Maybe, it would be easier for reviewers to consult my log on your board if I cut and paste it at the end of the cycle.I do not work for any supplement company, I am on bb.com to share feedback on supplements and to try to help people with the little knowledge I have. **Please note this**

Training summary :
Training evaluation : 9/10
Excellent training today. I felt great, no stomach problem, no dizzy feeling. I think it was the caffeine (400g) and the leg training that gave this weird feeling yesterday. The pumps were intense but not as hard as I had on Xceed(4.5 g of diarginine malate). The dosage was different so it's tough to really compare.
I am up at 254 lbs today. I am really surprised and happy with this. Maybe I could 260 at the end of winter .
My bench press at the beginning of the log is pretty good( Almost the max I pushed in my life except for my 1-ad cycle). It will be a good test to see if XR good give me the little extra to increase my strength.Last edited by Bloute; 02-10-2006 at 09:42 PM.

damn your a strong guy, I have a question that you can help me out with.
You bench alot, but have you ever had any problems getting there? Tearing a chest/or ripping something? I found as I was benching more I was getting more injured, but I finally have been clear of that lately and have been fine. So basically any tips for how you warm up/stretch when benching so much?
Thanks , keep up the good work

No problem except repetitive shoulder problems like tendinitis. Actually, I am bother with one and it's pretty to painful so I can't do any shoulder press and incline bench press. So I have to adjust my training.
For the warm up, I don't have any special tips except a warm up routine. I start with 135 and I slowly execute the movement ( at least 30 or 40 reps). Then, I load 225 lbs and I execute 15 reps a little bit faster but I stop the movement just before the chest every time. After this, I start my real workout.
Finally, Glucosamine, MSM and fish oil really help me for my joint problem.
So as you see, no special tip. Maybe I have been lucky for 10 years but no major injury.I do not work for any supplement company, I am on bb.com to share feedback on supplements and to try to help people with the little knowledge I have. **Please note this**
