The Cutting Big Guys
Figured I would make a thread for the big guys that are cutting right now, and are soon to cut. Maybe a fun way to help eachother out, share routines, diet and supps. Good luck to all you big cutters out there!! I am currently cutting, not sure of a goal weight, but I think 230-235 would be a good weight. Im pretty clueless when it comes to cutting, this is my first serious cut.

Not sure, I dont trust calipers. One of these days I will get hydrostatic. If I cant get it done right, then im not going to do it at all. My estimate is 25-28%. But people tell me thats a tid bit high. I carry my weight pretty well.

Well I used to powerlift in high school. Right now its been off and on for me. Lately I haven't been lifting too much. Just playing full court basketball for about 2-3hours a night at the Y. Lift here and there to take my mind off the cardio. Squats took a devestating drop from repping 450 to not even 315 before I cramp. Finally broke my bench platue about two weeks ago. Was stuck at 275 and jumped to 315. I dont know how.
Edit- yeah RR is doing one hell of a job. Maybe he'll stop in here.

Nice bench man, and yeah I took sometime off for football just getting back into it starting back into it hardcore on Monday.
We should have a competition or something like that if we could get more big guys to join.

Good luck with that, starting back up is always fun. Meh, im not a fan of the online competitions. Takes the fun out of it for me. I just want to have a successful cut, and maybe help some of the other big guys, and gain some knowledge from those who have done this before.

Thanks man, I'm kinda the same as you, I'm aiming to be cut (8% if possible) at about 180 than bulk up, but for me thats just a vague goal to aim for so I don't get sidetracked.

1200 cal deficit by food alone. then 500 from training, and 500-1000 from cardio. bust my ass, a few fat burner and other stuff
and yes, i have held most of not all my muscle so far, and strength is ok, considering how hard im cutting
