How do you think Phil Heath will fare at the Shawn Ray Colorado Classic. It will be his debut. Depending on who shows up to that show i think he'll place somewhere around 5th or 6th. I thionk melvin anthony will probably finish somewhere towards the top, i haven't heard of any other names competing.

I think Phil will do pretty well, but I think it will be money in the bank for Darrem Charles, Mr. Late Spring, Early Summer.
If you go to his website it shows many of the competitors, but it lists a few people that I am sure won't be there. Last time I heard anything from Ruhl's website he said he wouldn't start training again until February, and would compete right before the olympia to qualify, so we won't see him until the southwest/europa show, although Shawn Ray has him as a competitor.
It is to note that this is the third biggest bodybuilding show in the world with over 72,000 dollars going to the athletes, which of course is behind the Olympia and the Arnold.Moderator @ another place.

No i dont understand what you mean by high insertions in the chest.....the can be short from top to bottom but heath doesnt have that problem, he has a nice fully developed hanging chest.
But anyway, point is hes gonna come into the pro ranks and do what Warren has done, and piss alot of other guys off by walking past them

Lets also not forget the fact that he's Weider sponsored, he'll do well for that fact alone. I'm also willing to bet he's going to make a lot of appearences in FLEX and M&F in the months leading up to the contest. The Weider hype machine will be hard at work for Heath.
If he manages to put on another 10-15lbs, and come in just as conditioned, I see him placing top 5 if not top 3. He's got a lot going for him.

I think he will do well, and top 5 is very possible in his first show. Capriese murray can't hold his own against Phil. I want to see Melvin vs. Darrem vs. Phil in a posedown. Damn that would be some serious lines, and some serious symmetry.Moderator @ another place.
