Help I Hate Whey! :(
Okay, I can't stand whey protein powder at all...it literally makes me gag just smelling it. I did find one i liked in the summer it was in more of a juice form then milky, but I found out it had splenda in it and I don't eat any artificial sugars. I want to be taking protein after i workout and at other times of the day so I'm pretty frustrated with this. Could anyone give me some suggestions for a whey (with no artificial sweeteners) I might like or something else for protein?
Thanks!

Optimum, AllMax, Bioplex, and NOW make "natural" whey products.

Forget about the rest..
Hey xxx_killer, I was in the same boat as we before I discovered IDS New Whey. I buy them from BB.com, and I believe they come out to be about $2 per 42g protein.
http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/ids/new42.html
Expensive? Oh yea, but I'm happy to say I'm never touching any other protein supplement ever again in my life. I've tried them all... useless when you never take them because they all taste like ass! This thing goes down in 2 seconds, though I usually drink half and space the rest for later). Avoid the Grape, it's not nasty but does leave a strange after taste... Fruit Punch is definitely the best flavor.
Alot of people are recommending Muscle Milk.. which is great tasting (some flavors anyway, and the prepackaged kind is much better than the powder), but they are almost always loaded with calories! I believe there were some ingredients in there that have been debated about (safety wise) as well.

I'm not a big fan of these but Cytosport makes a whey proteins that are pretty tasty.... And their Evopro is very good. It is more than just plain whey.. It's a blend

Muscle Milk is good by itself but any Protein will taste good if you doctor it up a bit. Throw some whey in with half a banana and teaspoon of peanut butter, maybe even scoop of ice cream, little bit of chocolate syrup, little milk. Don't worry about extra calories, if you just worked out hard enough - you could use the extras!

Muscle Milk tastes really good. What I personally think is even better though is Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey. I know you said you gaga at the thought of whey but I have to be honest, ON 100% whey tastes like chocolate milk. Along with that during an independent study it was found out that ON was one of the only companies that actually contained as much protein as it claimed it did. If you haven't tried ON yet i'd say give that a shot before boycotting whey all together.

Any reason you're not consuming any artificial sugars? As long as it's in controlled moderation, I don't feel there's anything wrong with it--however, if you're downing a liter of diet soda, then you're asking for stomach problems.

Thanks for all of your answers so far boys!
And, yes I'm very sensitive to artificial sweeteners I find I get headaches any day that I drink them. And, I've seen way to much info against them. I don't even like eating anything with refined sugars, though I do moderately right now lol. I'm looking to experiment with stevia soon though. If anyone else has try it I'd love to hear your experiences with it.

I would recommend Isopure. It tastes VERY good. I love the Apple Melon. It tastes nothing like your standard whey.

Isopure taste amazing when your drinking them, but once you stop drinking them it has the worst after taste
Syntrax Nectars are all pretty good. If not you could probobaly just stick to eating some kinda of lean meat after a workout
